Xbox Live Halo 3

Mate sent me a invite to play halo 3 online with him last night.

Started connecting then i got an error message. Unsure what it said as I cant remember, but somethingto do with network connections, and mentioned NAT.

Now when i do a connection test, evereything seems fine, and NAT says Open?


Ive been searching through google, and trying all sorts of different settings in my router, port triggering, port fowarding. Got me so pissed off.

I use a Linksys WRT54GS V7 router.

My laptop connects wireless, and I then connect my xbox to my laptop and share internet connection.

Get your Xbox configured to an IP on your router, static.

(Mine's 192.168.0.20)

Then forward Inbound port 3074 TCP/UDP to that IP.

That sorted all my NAT problems, if you have already done this then dunno wtef's the problem.

Test my connection on xbox and get an error o nthe IP part

Could this because it shares a internet connection through my laptop?

Laptop connects wireless - Cable into laptop, then into xbox

Disable uPNP on your router if you can.
