Xmas Snow

well weird, I was just thinking about doing this today, is it one big Wil image over the screen? a custom image? or from the patch that forspinki (sp? sorry) released? I found some nice snow images in the objects wil I was going to use.
can you make say one image appear multiple times randomly over the screen? if so you could make like 3 different snow flakes and multiply them so it changes when you are walking around
Where did the wil come from? that snow looks a lot nicer than the snow I have. I like how its blended into the night, did you draw it on the map layer or just the drawscreen and it blended automatically? I'm very curious about it but I don't have my source to look at as I'm in work >.<
Always good to see people are still sharing rather than being big headed about their own.
you can make any 2.3 file set snow but you need to build it into the map if that makes sense.... i did it for last years christmas event
if you guys know how to play around with the map builder you should be able to recreate the effect but here is the files i used

it should have 1 snowy map and falling snow (the falling snow isn't amazing as its a bit of a repetitive loop but it impressed the players on my server enough to make them think the event was great lol

the map itself is just a large open snowey area so you can do pretty much what you like with it

(im sure Lifco's snow will be far superior though so dont assume this will be as good as his :P)
