on paper it sounds like an okay job, but as much as I like travelling, I wouldn't wanna be on a plane for that amount of time...not cos I have a problem with planes but it'd just get a bit bleh

my sisters been air hostess for a gd few year now for BMI and is now doing long haul and traveling to loads of mad places lol and she really enjoys it
but tireing somtimes as it fooks with ur sleep patterns aparntly :P
Prai's ideal job sounds alright, i once wanted to go down the road of the forces or commercial pilot. For the paid time off and interesting experiences/locations. But realised it was alot of work in an area that didn't interest me. As well as it being very competitive.
So i'm after a competitive industry, but one i enjoy. Working in drama/films, not necessarily acting, but doing something in that field, hence why i'm studying that at uni, to discover what area i want, and to build on some skills whilst making contacts and earning a qualification. It'll all help in getting that extremely competitive position.
Maybe something in Animation, as it's always interested me.
Pro's - Interesting, exciting, the opportunity to visually see you're work come to life, the people you'd meet, the lifestyle would even appeal to me.
Con's - I probs wouldnt earn alot (unless i was very good), the competition for jobs, the lack of work available (long periods unpaid), working to very tight schedules for times and expectations.
Althought my current part time jobs;
Reception for Bannatyne's Health Club + Cafe/Bar Staff
Pro's -
People - staff and members.
The hours i want
The shifts i want pretty much (as i come and go from uni/seeing lass etc)
The food
The quiet shifts
Free use of a pretty swish gym/pool etc.
Cons-
The people - a few of the tosser members, and some of the regional managers expect alot
Some of head office's policies are stupid but i have to enforce
When it goes wrong, it's all my fault - both within the club and with food, despite i actually have no authority to sort these problems.
Busy shifts, when you can't keep up with it all and on top of all the reports, members etc.
And finally, constant questions about Duncan Bannatyne... ?
