As it stands this is how the PvP event is going to be. I suggest if you're unhappy with it, you don't participate and wait for the next one (if there is a next one) depending on how many people sign up and if people enjoy it we can make it a regular occurence.
We'll be using a small-to-medium sized map (To Be Determined) and a League/RoundRobin styled pvp event, where 4 players (1 of each class) will fight against another 4 players (1 of each class) as teams against each other. It is our intention to have every team face each other at least once. We will see if winners/losers bracket will be done depending on how many people choose to sign up.
It will be up to you to find your perfect team. You'll need to come up with a name for your team and submit your 4 players for contention in this thread via the following form:

You can only be in one team for this event, so choose wisely. You can not make changes to your team after the event has begun. If someone fails to turn up on the day, you are to fight without them. Observer mode MUST be turned on during your fight. There are no level limits, no pot limits, no gear limits. There are no spell limits.
Failure to comply with this ruleset will see your team disqualified. Right now we need to perform a few tests on the test server so this will be the sign up period. You have until Friday the 7th of September to sign up with your team.
As of now the Reward we've chosen for the winning team is in the form of GameGold, and ingame Crystals. How much of each is yet to be decided, nor have we chosen to give a 2nd or 3rd place prize as of yet. We will discuss rewards further down the line. For now, get signed up so we can register interest.
Let me be clear. I am aware this event won't be for everyone and not everyone will be able to participate or feel unworthy to, that is fine. If this works out and we get enough interest i'll be more than happy to do similar themed PvP events with different limitations in the future.
