game is rapidly becoming boring , really hope your new cave is something brand new and fun , ghost bdd is terrible , the most used map in the life of Mir and you wasted that mechanic on it .

Active usercount is dropping daily , you don't seem to have anywhere near as much passion as you did at the start , before you listened and replied to every idea thrown at you , responded to criticism and listened to what we had to think , now ideas posted in the ideas get ignored regularly , you cherry pick who you feel like responding to , you're never ingame , seems like you have lost interest , which I hope you haven't as the server was so ****ing goood

no reason to level past 48 for most , let alone 50 , the game is becoming saturated with PB items which is good , however I saw 6 dragonslayers drop today , in about 5 hours , this is ridiculous lol . 2 level 40 weapons dropped from 1 average boss , I don't know if this is all part of your plan , and I'm not salty about missing drops as I'm happy with my kit , but it seems the game has come to a point where it's just dead.

Ghost BDD didn't fix the problem , it was interesting for all of a day. The only reason people hunt there is to get fragments , what a waste of a brand new cave lol ,

you may think I'm moaning and talking **** which is fine. But I'm not the only one that feels like you've become bored of the server and just not bothered lol,


Have to agree with all of this.

sat at 47 on tao there is really no reason to level to soft cap @50.

Bosses are all boring as **** requiring 0 skill and 90 seconds of your time.

even the " hard bosses" are a complete joke and on farm, GBDD is just BDD with huge health pools 0 mechanics.

lets not even go into the luck 9 situation lol.

Wizzys still broken as **** also nothing at all been done about them.

One thing regarding dance of swallows change.

This is a good change, but can this be changed so only a successful teleport will cancel the recall? Reason being, a sin will now be able to dance away and cast TT, even if this fails they have now successfully escaped a fight, where as any other class would have to suffer the consequences of a failed TT.

Yes, this is how it already has been implemented. (If you teleport it cancels the Recall)

Sorry I just assumed Casting counted as a successful cast, I shall add that word to make it clearer.

  • Casting TownTeleport and successfully landing inside the safe zone will cause the recall of Dance of Swallows to cancel.

Imo it just seems sins have now been given an epic escape route from fights... Teleport can fail where DoS doesnt. So either way they have a fool proof way to get out and quick.

Which sucks.

DoS can fail if cast on impassable terrain.

Then when you're teled back you are usually dead from what you were teleing away from anyway.

My only concern is that with mobs not regening in combat everything will become very easy. At the moment, the only bosses that require more than 2 people are Yims, Behamoth and Ghost BDD...with Behamoth being the only challenging boss ingame. If Behamoth doesn't spawn as much as he does now, it may leave the server with no proper guild bosses. Unless new higher level content is planned soon.

Other than that, it all sounds good.

Jamie , i think what he was trying to say is for example if any class fails a tt in a fight they are pretty much dead in alot of situations, but with this change sins have a foolproof way of tting ( by swallowing to other side of screen with 1/1 swallow rate before attempting to tt) so they have a guranteed get out of jail free card while other classes suffer in this sense.

My suggestion would be that the "Spell" Teleport is disabled when under the effects of Dance Of Swallows.

This way it ONLY does what the spell was designed to do; Jump in, Whack whack, Jump out, run away. Rinse and repeat.

or to escape... we all know most people are numptys so end up following the sins anyway, which when they jump back means they are still away from attack.

Just Disable Teleport when under DoS effect.

Very interested to see how the getting xp for the damage you do affects Taos. This is just for the solo cave right? And the no regen thing is just in the solo cave or throughout the game?

Also razaurus, while reading the whole post I actually thought that Jamie was aware of the issue but not the fix hence why he posted that and then striked through and gave the fix. He even went on to state this clearly later. In fact there is no way to know for certain what happened in the mysterious did he or didn't he know drama that is clearly so important to you but one thing you can know for sure is you can't force people to thank you if they don't want to. Being a nob about it and trying to force one usually doesn't help either. Personally I think he knew the issue but was debating the fix. As for who is smarter, don't be salty mate but the guy is clearly smarter than you. Good luck recoding Mir and being able to implement anything on this scale. Good feedback that you can hopefully use going forward.
