Hi, firstly Jamie I'd like to say thank you for adding yet again not great content. However, that being said I do feel that the drop rates on red and green marr's do not meet the challenge they present. These things are way stronger than red mobs / yim's mobs but from what I've seen and I've killed 1000s the drop rates / drop files are significantly worse. Could we please have a look at altering the drop file to the challenge presented or lower the damage these things do because it isn't lining up at the moment, I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way. Thanks again!

Jamie really can't win.

"Yims drop too well! You can't have basic mobs dropping high level items!"

"Marrs don't drop well enough! Add high level items to drop files!"

The way I see it, a place shouldn't be good for leveling AND item drops. It's one or the other. If FP is designed as a leveling area, then it shouldn't be a place where you expect drops. If you want that, then go to Yims/RC.

Marrs are significantly easier than RC lol.

There's no ranged, no tele mobs, and you have infinity space to mass lure from a safe distance.

Head a shake.

Easy for wizard / Taoist, They mobs are a STRUGGLE for melee I was chilling there with OmiOme other night watching him get smashed by 4-5 mobs hes 47 assassin with pretty insane kit, he defo takes more damage there. Wizard + Taoist defo have it easy there with no tele mobs.

Adv from some of the **** you say on Forum's i feel like you a level 43 that doesn't put much time in at all. You always telling people to not chuck stupid numbers about with whats mob / players are hitting. Omi can go Red and hardly get hit in agility kit, he cant take more than a 5 mob lure without dying in Forbidden. :\ Problem with this forum everybody just talk's **** lol a Red Marr can hit me for 98 through my shield at level 46.. that means i could get 4 Hit, with how fast them mobs move you can get 4times without even getting a sun off.

Show me where Iv told people not to throw number around also. Lol, I haven't said that once... Always, HA!

Also if you are dying on a wizard there you should just altQ. It's literally heaven for you.

No you don't.

Although i do feel they hit a bit too hard.

Then again i dont actually hunt in PB because those also hit me hard lol.

I will carry on killing mobs on yims 2nd :)

Prove's nothing to me but numbers, Forbidden Rapes, Pb tickles... Forbidden provience only apply to Wizard + Taoist. Seen a few 46+ Sins CS there. You said forbidden prov was for 30-45 and cave was for 40-50.. G/l for a 40 to kill in the cave and goooood ****ing luck for a level 30 to kill Prov mobs. It feels like you aint even tested it in the slightest if you think Forbidden prov is in line with PB something's not working right in your brain.

He literally just posted the stats of the mobs. They hit (on average) weaker than PB mobs. He has actual physical proof that what you say shouldn't be true (without a bug or external - re. non-stat related - factors), whereas yours is purely anecdotal.

I'm not saying you are wrong, as I really don't know. Hell he could be making the numbers up even, but we kind of just have to accept that he has given true numbers.

Are you taking more mobs at once than you did in PB? Are you saying the ranged mob thing is the issue?

Bottom line - all else being equal - unless there is a bug the marrs should be hitting weaker than PB.

Green and Red Marrs should drop lvl 40+ items every time they are hit also.

This place is seriously easy **** lvling,( almost too good) no changes needed.

Province is easy for sub 45s , over 45 the cave is only good for wizz Taos and good kitted warriors , sins get more exp faster in yims 1/2f and warriors probably equal dependent on kit

The cave is horrible for wiz. Alot of fws get blocked and lures takes ages to kill.

As for damage, they might have less dc, but afaik they hit against your amc. Generally people have less amc than ac on this server which might be why they hurt so much.

They are the base stats, doesn't show the calculations that output the skill/attack damage modifiers. Granted i have not been to PB for a while, however i dont recall seeing green numbers in dmg received, yet the red marrs can definately hit for 100+. Can tank a lure of 3-4 green mobs not to bad, tanking 3-4 red mobs can be a quick death if no sunpots.

For a melee, this place is not good at all.

The red mars do that weird flame breath that hit's like a mother****er, and has range. PB mobs don't do that. Their normal DC attacks really don't hurt all too much, it's the magic attacks that destroy me as a warrior.

Ahh yes, this makes more sense. I did think of it being AMC def based, but assumed Jamie wouldn't have been so 'look at the stats, end of' if that was the case. Happy to be proven wrong with actual explanation though., so thank you for explaining.

The mobs in the cave can thrust you from a 1space distance away, and can also red poison you.

Red poison alone is enough to make the cave completely and utterly aids to hunt in, hence why people are saying they hit too hard. Remove the red poison, problem solved.
