Just putting it out there and suggest you put it in Jamie...

Can you add that Green box that zones your characters position when teleporting? I always lose myself a lot when porting around, that would be a nice fix for it!

Now that is Mir3! Original Bichon Province! None of these boring, stripped maps we get in Mir3 servers these days

Does look pretty sweet but got to agree with above, unless that dudes playing on bad ping or has low FPS it just looks very chuggy compared to Zircon.. Liking them horse sounds though haha.

Now that is Mir3! Original Bichon Province! None of these boring, stripped maps we get in Mir3 servers these days

Problem with those maps, is with the population WE have would make them look very bare lol.

We have enough to make these "stripped" maps look busier, but thats it.

Ultimately, big maps are just not needed anyway....you may prefer the look of an enormous map, but after the initial start phase, 95% of all starter maps don't get used....except to run through to the caves we want to get to.

More resolutions and overall smoother gameplay. Korean client is just run on an outdated engine, without rebuilding it, there is very little they can do about it.

Jamie has done his from scratch, on technology available to us today. Anything built "today" will run better on anything built over a decade ago, the technology is simply better and capable of utilising the resources we have available...which simply didn't exist back then.


Same issue you may experience on some games a few years ago when Quad core Processors released. Games would run better on Dual core because they were optimised for it....Quad-core may have had more available power, but the 2 additional cores were just not used properly and slowed down performance, instead of improving it....same would happen on the Korean client, you would need outdated hardware to run it properly.

u sure Official kor is outdated?
check for last client or in game web, engine and game is updated every week, official kor client uses DirectX9 and is coded in C++ language. A lot of koreans, chinesse ppl and me included, tested Kor client with new Computer with 4 cpu cores and worked very fine...

Ppls cant compare a game engine where is spent lots of 4-5 x 0 figures every month on it with what we can have here on lomcn.

Coding from bare scratch is good but would take alot of resources and time spent to build a game engine like korean one has now.

I miss the more ornate temple entrances for placed like Zuma, JP etc but it hasn't change the basic functionality of the game for me. Although we do have a Bichon Castle map not sure whats on/in it!
