Jamie was online yesterday but the reboot got delayed twice by Shane's request whats all that about...

You have let people gain 1 - 2 nights what it took others 2 weeks to gain,

Congratulations on another ziricon grade A **** up. Well played.


(The reason for GM interference was because he's fed of some ppls greed apparently lols.....

It's the reason why I blocked you in-game. Nobody else is, no idea what you are on about with the greed part. I've mentioned I wanted everyone to enjoy the new boss, it took Jamie alot of effort to make and code. Couldn't care about the items which is why they are to be left as common as they are. 4 kills for a full set is what TGW managed. Can't comment on what you have gained.
With regards to the reboot

Jamie was not available to reboot this morning. However testing was required and tweaks needed to be added or nobody would be killing doomclaw. With the changes that people wanted, regen and stealth fix it was impossible to kill.

Anyways when Jamie is home from college he will update. Should be in the next few hours.

Your probably right with that tbh and i'm sure i'll not be around much longer,

as for changes, it would be much better if no-one was killing it, its getting killed 10 times more often than it was before the changes.

Just so we are clear.

Doom claw was intended to be a long term item and kit gain. We wasn't expecting to see a complete set X 3, 4 days after its 1st started to be killed. However due to the calculation error with parts and people in group and not seeing the amount off parts dropping due to them being put in guild store, the damage was done. 1 of each armour,emblem, wep, helm and set accessories were In game.

We felt it was unfair to remove the items that they had gained as they had took alot of effort to get the method of killing g perfected. Soon as the found out sins could kill the kill speed dropped massively making it a easy boss to kill. Still took time, but wasn't a 6 hour marathon that they had for the 1st kills.

So now all the items are ingame, completely destroying the PvP balance anyone not involved had zero chance to progress. You obviously being allied with TGW and better team work between your 2 guilds means that nobody will ever progres other than your 2 guilds. Sure I get that well that's mir. But the idea was for the wall subs to produce half the servers items. Yet this has only accounted for a fraction, which is the correct rates for what we intended. Couple of month progression.

So seen as it was bugged, our mistake and TGW and THC gained a massive advantage for the 10 days it was killed for, it's only fair that the rest of the server could enjoy new items and the new boss.

You may have noticed the new set items are white in quality meaning upgrade will be slow after the 1st upgrade (1 item required).

After the reboot it can still be killed as many times as it is currently. Just now requires a group to clear and kill.

Previously you saved many hours with recall and RT to the boss so the time spent clearing the map should be rewarded with the boss's at the end.

I think the issue is the fact the boss can be solo'd by 2 sins (1 probably) and you delaying reboot looks like you're giving kit out on a plate.

I get rays point and i do think a reboot should have been priority to get this boss fixed.

As I said above it was planned however it would not have been killed. More changes needed. It has extremely high regen, yet the Taos could not be in range to keep it poisoned. Hence the delay.

I see rays point obviously but in the grand scheme of things the kit in a few weeks will be common so for the long term effect of the server it's a minimal effect of a couple of sins have got some items.

also the current state of the exp/drop/gold is horrible now after what we have been playing with for the last 6 weeks, if anything the server rates should have been permanent.

even thou its not cut the rates clean in half it sure as hell feels like it, noticing the exp bar isn't even moving after clearing the wall x2 isn't appealing.

will you re-enable the buffs until you come to some kinda agreement with the community it seems alot if not most want them buffs back.

Problem with this is having progression happen at a rate of which we're not comfortable at keeping up with content wise. The event was a great way for people to catch up, get ahead, and return and make new characters but it had to end at some point. Leaving the good whistles in was a decision we made as we felt people enjoyed them.

I agree it'll feel crap at first, but we'll give you guys your next carrot soon enough to help ease the grind that is Mir.

I still don't know what has happened / what the reboot is applying?

Is a boss getting changed to be easier or something??

I will say about doom claw My sin is very well geared from the last lot of items and I worked extremely hard to do so but even with comfort 20, luck 9 and 404 DC at lvl77 he still isn't the push over your making him out to be. If he triple repulses it can kill anyone.

Give it a week at the slower snails pace and they will all have forgotten being able to level faster. levelling faster isn't good for the server's longevity and exp events only benefit those who can put in the most hours, who are already ahead of the rest.
If you want to even out the playing field, put a level cap on a little used cave and up the exp x5 or whatever and up the lower level caps for boosting areas.

also i dont see how other guilds are able to compete for this boss since the 2 main guilds who camped the boss for weeks with exploitet drop rates are fully kitted in uber gear. They just keep camping the boss on respawn and kill anyone on site. WIth the gear advantage there is nothing we can do...

now the sell the 5000 extra items in comms for 400 million each.. making billions of gold. Economy of this server will be soon ****ed! There NEEDS to be a fix for this issue.

There isn't an ally system.
It looks a lot like THC wont fight TGW because they wont win.
25% mir players play for the pvp - but only if they can win. That isn't fighting that's putting heavyweights in the ring with welterweights.
You can say it's PK cos it isn't pvp.
If 25% play to PK and they deliberately grief and intimidate the rest into leaving you are left with 45 players.

Maybe not the place to post but seen a couple of things mentioned (not about reboot) so thought id post here.

Why were the white whistles left in game? You blow a whistle you have the top guilds on you in there new kit and your dead. Also why was the buff only in map 1 and 2 in the dunes? and yet the only place really to have a good hunt is the second map as that first map hardly has any mobs in? Ill point out im lvl 78 I get 1 hit by anyone in all this new kit so in the end just end up in safe zone.

This isnt me wanting things handing on a platter as ive enjoyed building my kit up and working towards what ive got and i dont even care when people want to kill you but when you dont even have a chance to pot it is just stupid as how on earth can you build stuff up.

I like the game but at the minute its starting to pull its appeal away. I know your all working hard and i appreciate that but sometimes I feel the little people are just being pushed out very slowly.


Sorry to moan but thought it was worth a mention

Other dune maps are for ranged classes as there are alot more mobs so the exp would be crazy if we applied the same map effect to these.

Can't comment on your kit if your being 1 hit I would guess there is an issue with lack of emblem for a start.
