indeed even chronicles had level caps in place, it helps balance between avg player and the (no lifer, ebuyer)
As a solo player i totaly agree with this . 43 allmost 44 and cant eaven kill wt now after boss boost . books are stupidly hard to get its not a game for solo players at all . the top guilds pk every one and dont sell on high items so your kit at mid 40 is the same as at 40 nothing to work for.wars are nurft to nothing how you can tank with crappy items of kit i just dont no All in all if you dont join a top guild you are screwed sad
There are soft caps. Which is better than complete caps and 50 top ppl leaving game once capped and bored.
Just knock 33-50% off the respawn time of all bosses and let us all go at it. Add new drops to the old euro bosses and revise trash mob drops.
I was thrilled to see BG added; I was then gutted to see it was only open 3 times frames throughout the day; 2 of which i'm at work and the 8PM is a no go because i have kids to put to bed
Not very casual friendly if you ask me.
The fact they put BG on a timer to open is silly, Just once again feeding them big guild which can split all 3 open times, there no teleport out time. Taoist in my guild sat at MTK for 20 odd hours hiding so no mobs seen him and farming it over n over, he had freezing gems, speed gems, 40 weapons, so much **** was unreal when i got on the next morning.
This was the make or break for me and it was a break, BG mobs super hard aswell and give exp that's not even worth stopping for. Sad really good servers being ruined by stupid idea and catering to much to the big guilds. I know there putting something in for solo players but meh 3 months to late mate.

Meh, I guess this makes me feel better.. not missing much then!
In the summer holidays I once did a 46 hour stint in BG with my sister to help get her from level 41->42 to use her FF book. Easy when you have a spare pro ring XD Good Times.
Must admit BG on here is very underwhelming in terms of mobs/exp etc. Meant to have the mobs tele on you, they're meant to hurt a lot more and give way more exp.
As it stands its just a free 6 bosses for whichever noob guild goes, as the top 2 guilds don't bother.

Can I ask what the changes were for casual players? Really considering giving this a go when work slows down for Christmas and keen to see what is meant to get me excited to play. All I read is how rubbish it is for new players/players not in a top guild.

Theres a lot of guildless players making 20m a day on lvl 38 tao's, although you wont be able to on other classes at the same level, wait til 40+
It all depends on your play style, the people crying theres no bosses etc are sat in the sz chatting as much **** as they do on here.
Bdd is a good place to cash, the new rooms in HMJ after iwt are good for low/intermediate cash hunts.
+ with the xmas event id expect they will give people the chance to reroll/boost new players with some event/reindeer farming.
Id kit up now...even just the tedious 0-30 spells so youre ready when it comes
