Had my razor deathadder for over 10 years and the scroller button has finally gone on it. Any recommendations as I'm just going to buy the razor deathadder again most likely as it's a safe bet. Only real requirement is for it to have side buttons.

I've currently got the Razer Naga V2 Pro Wireless, and I love it. Prior to this, I had 2x Logitech Hero G502's which was really comfy in your hand, and I loved that one too.

I have just this to say: if you are one of those folks, like myself, who use mouse many years, don't buy or try not to buy those ones that come with that no-slip rubberized surface!!

Over the years, that rubber decomposes and becomes very sticky to the point that it has to be thrown out. Some otherwise nice mouse, I contemplate experimenting with washing the goo off with some solvent.

Microsoft mice, I accumulated a number of them over the last twenty years, are simply the worst in this way, even the wheel becomes like it was coated in honey. I have several Razer mice (or is it Razor, with that wiper snake logo) and those are not as bad as MS mice, some hold up better than other ones, but still they also get sticky or semi sticky. Right now I use Razer mouse, maybe 8 to 10 yrs old and in places the rubber is completely gone down to plastic and the rest is not as sticky as it would be if it wasn't coated in dust, which reduces the stickeness of it, The wheel on it is OK, just the buttons and palm surface.

I also had to throw away some other rubber coated items, usb keys and what not else. I just deplore this trend and for one, it surprised me that MS brand, its flagship mice would lead in this way. Probably because made in PRC :poop:

In what way? Maybe it just accumulated too many dust fibers inside where you don't see it? I fixed several mice by opening them for cleaning. They are fairly simply inside, mechanically speaking. Sometimes the wheel just lifts out for cleaning. Its axle winds on it lots of fibers, hair etc., that can prevent it working.

I've always had the MX/Revolution range for work and just recycle old work one as home mouse. Got MX master 3 at work, Mx Master 2 at home, and a Mx Master 1 for my chicken show laptop 😂

Perhaps not best for gaming, but creature of habbit, and i map keys for CAD.

I have one also i find it disconnects a lot and freezes a bit too also when pluging it in to use wired it doesnt seem to like working sometimes. a good mouse when it works but very flaky. it is my fifth Naga and this is the worst of the lot not sure i would buy another.

I've had wireless in the past and the constant Bluetooth drops were enough for me to never even contemplate getting another

The steel series Rival 5 looks right up my street. These mouses with 9-12 buttons on the side seem a little crazy for my fat thumb

I've not experienced any of these issues and I've had this for about 6 months now. Are you both sure you are talking about the Naga V2 Pro? I've had the V1, and I agree it had disconnection issues, but the V2 comes with a USB Dongle and has both a Bluetooth and 2.4 Ghz connection (for the dongle). I've not experienced any disconnection issues, or latency issues with the V2, its been absolutely superb so far.

Oh no it wasn't a razer. Can't remember what it was but it was bad enough to never want one again

I believe that is due to battery power saving or just power saving. BT is quite power hungry technology. The mouse drops connection after some period of inactivity and it seems there is no setting for it.

Waking up BT connection means you need to press a button on the mouse and in few seconds, it restores the connection. It sucks major way, Much better to sacrifice one usb port to 2.4Ghz usb dongle.

First time i've used the MX range, well worth the money for comfort alone!

Worthing is depressing.
The only issue is there seems to be a conistent problem with the thumb button, (i dont use it anyway).

The ability to use 1 mouse on multiple PC's aswell is good if you have a laptop next to your PC

Razer Naga V2 Hyperspeed, just works, easy to map buttons, hardly ever have to touch the keyboard, especially if it’s Mir lol

Holy mice

I always find those side buttons too far back for comfort, I'd rather had them under my thumb and keep light touch over them all the time, so you don't have to crane thumb backwards or slide the whole hand back just to reach those buttons.

Haha its just learning how to use the first joint on the thumb, muscle memory in the end.

If it's anything like the Naga V2 Pro, it comes with 3x interchangeable side profiles.
