the lvling part is what kills me off ive push exp to 270% with souls might even push it again this run
What are you struggling with mate? I tend to get wiz and tao to lvl 22 quickly just by adding them to boss runs. Then solo wiz to 24 in 5-10 mins and go BDD. Really quick after that

I know you talked about introducing some updates to bring in line Wiz and Tao but the gap between them and warrior is massive.

I'd argue its more survivability vs damage out put, wizards will just hammer through pots in about 45 mins and just die smacking things with there staffs. Taos can survive a bit longer but the lack of auto spells is mainly the issue there. I'd be more inclined to introduce that all classes have a different maximum auto spell slot when solo (keep group as 3) e.g when tao is solo it can use 6 spells, wiz maybe 5 & war maybe 3 when everything is unlocked with the new relics. Repulse could be another option to stop the wiz getting battered?

Also MP usages when solo, id massively cut wiz and tao, obviously this just theory and i'm not sure if its even possible ? The group play stuff isn't too bad so if you can keep them separate that would be great.

i think hes adding in some more autopot/auto spell slots next update

maybe you could add soul upgrades for reduced mana use? and the gap might actually close when people using mirroring and pet enhancer on tao. i havent had any of these spells yet also things like met/blizz and the mc buff.

It's not just about the more end-game experience though, I started this game wanting to main a tao. I quickly learned it would have been a massive waste of effort when Warrior is the boss killer and the fastest lvler. More of a balance would be nice so you don't feel like a warrior carrying the other two all of the time. We all push the warrior to 22, then bring along the tao/wiz to bosses until 24ish, then bdd. Some variety, while not impeding progress would be nice.

i mean when it comes to the game i think its balanced
warriors always have the dps
taos can hunt longer and make the bosses killable
wizards are the way to lvl as long as they can tank it thats mir i think hes hit it right and we havent even had all the spells yet. you cant main 1 char here its all of them. when we play mir and lvl with wizards and **** we are normally feeding them pots to keep them lvling us.

@1westy1 when you merge two of same stats onto a empowered item it seems to delete one.

I swapped 10% TDB Crit off a ring onto a Stone which already had 50% and +2 freeze, i wanted rid of freeze, so swapped for 10% and it deleted the 50% aswell - I resorted to a cloud backup to undo it.

Looks like the two stats collided and just replaced the 50% with the 10%. Kind of intentional as I don't want players to be able to stack the same empowerment, but I will put something in place to step people overriding a bigger empowerment with a lower one.

And I shall have a better look at the balance messages once I am back (probably Sunday)!

Started thinking about another rebirth today and shortly after had heaven arm and oma king robe drop. Typical!

wheres the best place to farm souls? I've been playing quite a lot but not rebirthed once and only got around 15 souls in total

It's always tough eh!! If you get the upgrades right you catch up so quick. I rebirthed a few days ago and I'm already back to lvl 46 with a SOWG and Burst Sword, with an OKS robe in store.
Started thinking about another rebirth today and shortly after had heaven arm and oma king robe drop. Typical!

Back to level 1 it is!

Im debating hitting my first rebirth at 120 souls, i think that would be a nice boost to start?

Yeah, just make sure you unlock the 1 time upgrades (Empowered bosses, Gem crafting etc) and then stick the rest into Exp

Yeah those are exactly what i did, was gonna use some for amc etc but went for more exp

Update:
  • Made some balance changes. A 25% nerf to TDB, and a 200% damage buff to Flame Disruptor and SFB at max level, as well as a buff to tao pets.
  • Fixed a few bugs, including clicking UI during combat
  • You can now press A and D to quickly switch between characters in town and in combat
  • You can now move items around your hotbar and stack them without having to have your inventory open (worried this might make things worse for mobile users as now you have to double click to use a hotbar item. Let me know if it's an issue)
  • Added the 5th auto pot and auto spell slots as drops from BDD bosses
  • Added a subscriber cash shop item (1000 tokens for 28 days) that gives 10% base XP increase (so 110% at base, 200% incease from Rebirth purchases would put it up to 220%). Along with 10% bosss respawn timer reduction, 10% gold drop increase, and the 6th auto pot and auto spell slots.
  • Added a dialogue popup for gems, orbs and benedictions
  • Added an XP per hour calculator as a rebirth and cash shop purchase
Will be back to working on this properly tomorrow so let me know if there's anything else that should be changed/fixed/added
