if your heard the news he had a quran with him , and it was the day of eid ( muslim holiday ). muslims believe that if u die on eid you will go STRAIGHT to heaven after suffering punishments no matter what you did in your life, thats why he didnt care he was going to die , and thats why the judges sentenced him 2 be hanged on that particular day.

How ****ing sad, i dont know but i feel remorse for this dictator. Why? Because he was around 70 and he was sentenced to a slow death, saddam himself said he would like to be shot instead, they denied it. I cant really talk as i dont know/experienced what the Iraqi people experienced during his reign of 'terror' as people put it. However how the old saying goes ... two wrongs dont make a right, what would the guy do if he was serving life in prison?.

They needed to execute Saddam when he was the main cause of the resistance fighting in Iraq, this isn't there case now, he only has a small following.

tbh dont want to get into any arguments and cba to "express my opinion", jst wanna say that DeathDoors said he will go to heaven according to muslims because of eid. but the only thing is he may not of been hung on the day of eid depending on when the country he was in, was celebrating eid. There were three days in which muslims celebrated eid which depended on where they were. In the UK some muslims did eid on sunday and some did it on saturday depending on the mosque they follow, but other countries did it on monday so Saddam will only go to heaven if the country he was in was celebrating eid on the day he was hung, although there wasnt much for him to celebrate. BTW i can say that his execution was very quick and painless as i have seen the full execution video, just incase you want to watch it, it is available on youtube. Also even if Saddam was celebrating eid on the day he was hung he will only go to heaven after his punishment, from all the things i am hearing that he has done, it seems like he's going to spend a long long time in hell :fthrower:

There is a 'actual' hanging of saddam on youtube, some guy filmed it but i didnt watch all of it because i thought it was sad, i just watched the start bit where the guy started talking about allah or sumthing. Imo its sick to watch a guy irl get hanged but thats me, if you want to watch it go ahead.

I agree with the majority of the people on this thread, Saddam deserved to die.. but he didnt deserve to die in such a degrading way, it shouldn't have been allowed to be recorded and put all over the net but hey Iraqi's are sick ****ers who cut peoples heads off while theyre alive in the middle of a street so ya know.. congrats on killing the him.

However i also agree that no1 knows wtf Bush has done in his time of power for all everyone knows he could have had thousands of people killed and no one know about it he is the most powerful man in the world, so no one can say he couldn't do it and get away with it, you can't argue with that.

I watched Saddams hanging and hell i felt sorry for him simply because it was allowed 2 be recorded.
