Mir keeps freezing

Dunno why but its really startin 2 annoy me now, started happenin on euphoria where mir would randomly freeze, and id have 2 ctrl+alt+del then w8 about 2mins for it 2 close it, or just restart PC

i know a lot of other ppl have had it 2, and they say its cause of not havin patchs, or happens it certain places. but my client is fully patched so not sure why its doin it

started happenin on euphoria, then dled full evilmir client, happened twice on there within space of about 15mins then cba goin bk on after that, so dled mir revenge 2 see if it happens on there, and frooze after bein ingame for abotu 2mins -.- (also fully patched)

so any ideas why its freezing? it cant be my PC, as my PC can handle loads of mirs open with no problem. so must be in the client files?

altho i have about 5 diff mirs for each server, 2 see if it was corrupt files or something, yet still crashs.

Does it only happen when playing Mir ?

Firstly, it could be your pc. Clean out the fan, grilles and any dust clumps inside.
The graphics card or other component might be failing or overheating which will lead to a failure.
Make sure you don't have any background tasks working.
Do a thorough scandisk to check for drive errors or crosslinked files etc.

Run Dxdiag and do the tests.

You might also have a dodgy line. It might not disconnect you but could cause a long lock up. Make sure all your line filters are inplace and your router has the latest updates.
Check for noise on the line. Water in the line can cause a line inbalance.

it only happens on 2.3 priv servers

i can play euro mir for hours and no problems at all, same with other games. so it cant be my PC. CPU usage dont go over 50%, so it cant be over workin or ne thing

Start > Run >
Type dxdiag in the run box then run the graphics/sound tests etc.

However, if its only 2.3 pvt servers then maybe there's some bad or dodgy coding somewhere in them.
Is it really random or is there a function you suddenly use or maybe a wizard spell skill ?

done all the tests and no problems found, all workin fine

on mir revenge it'll jsut freeze after walkin a few steps/ not movin at all / hititn a mob once/twice, but sometiems killin the mob and runnin a few steps and fine. was on for 2secs, then was on for about 60secs, then only 30secs.

on evilmir i was on for abotu 5mins before it frooze

gonna delete all mir's and just use the euro client i got, then patch from there see if ne difference.

if not ill give reformating a try

I think the graphics on one of the weapon skins causes the freezing so this is just 1 that has slightly edited images.

Do you know if the weapon skin is one from Mir 2 Euro or is it one thats been changed somehow ?
