Anyway , we could just say to you what you used to say to your players "If you dont like it , dont play" , however I like to think of myself as a PART of this community , and a server is based on the community , not the person that owns the Hosting Machine ...

So hopefully , we can build a Server even you , NewHope , will be able to appreciate ...

what a poor come back, if your server was incomplete as you put it, you couldnt be bothered to update and wernt really planning on doing so, why did you waste peoples time and put it up?

and as for meteora, its pretty crap tbh another destinyAO that wont come up, even when i tested it the stats were lower than euro for christ sake and lvling was just as slow or slower.

You my friend, logged onto the wrong server then.

Meteora will be up, theres no doubt about it. The finishing touches are being added as we speak and new features are constantly being added.

As for OldSkool, good luck with it, sounds like the only 2.3 server which has done anything remotely different with TDs files, hats off to you for that.

Hopefully we'll have it up this weekend , theres a ton of dropfiles to be done and thats the most tedious work I guess as were doing them from scratch. Currently tbh Im slowing our lil team down a bit because I buggered my SQL up when installing a new Drive and had to redownload (2.5Gb, lol) and reinstall last night , so Benny had to wait for all my addittions :S

Im glad the server is getting a lot of feedback anyway , and on another Note I may aswell say this now (not directed at anyone):

If you have something bad to say about this server , please bear in Mind , as I've already stated ... It isnt even out yet , if YOU think there should be an addition , or if you have an idea - Post it .. we'll try get it done and then you shouldnt have a complaint anymore , right? ^_^ ...

I know sure as hell when I 1st started with the files I was baffled due to the differences between TDs and *******'s , but a lot of things I didnt think were possible can actually be done ...

EDIT: If anyone has any ideas for GuildWar or PvP games .. post them up ... as the "PvP Fun" NPC is the next to be added , and if my plan goes correctly , we should see some of your Favourite FPS team games available in Mir ... Capture the Flag is almost complete :P

Im not one of Ben's followers before you try to make any comment that I am, i'm actually one of the people that Ben comes to, to ask for assistance, which I dont mind giving because he actually appreciates the help that people give him.

Ok, my appoligies after re-reading posts he says might was "nothing special" still no disrespect towards the server though, not warranting the " I may check it out, as its bound to have rivalry due the the amount of people hanging around bens arse," though, things like that piss me off......no matter how great or crap a server is, the usercount is going to reflect that, people are not just going to continue playing a server because they "like a GM"

unfortunately, i offered newhope one of the cheapest possible solutions to his issues with lag on his might server, he was stupid enough not to accept it and have his files stolen, all his own doing, if servers are not complete, dont release them then at a later date blame your stupidity on "incomplete" files.

Well i discused it with tuma, we are gonna try mess about with curse see if we can make it less effective / less seconds, if we can get it to how we like it (aimin for around 12sc=1second) then curse will be put ingame, altho it will be rare. i belive only a few of the sub-tao class's have it any way

I will ask tuma to write a small guide sayin what spells and that you get, however when you choose the class there are small discriptions on the NPC...

most class's get the normal spells, just at different strengths / mp usage etc

might look into doin a quest for bein able to reset your class at a certain level aswell, altho u wont be able to change class, only your sub class. otherwise ppl will be wiz, lvl to 70 fast with FF then change to war lol.

PK System Changed:



-PK a player that is 2 or more levels HIGHERthan you - you gain EXP 300k EXP, they lose 150k exp. (this is about 1% at lvl60 odd)



-PK a player that is 2 or more levels LOWER than you - you commint murder.



-Drop rates for dropin off body from monsters are very low (like 1/80 chance, 80 deaths ull prob drop an item)



-Drop rates for dropin items off body when pked, about 1/25 (25 deaths ull prob drop an item)

I would still probably play the server due to the lack of servers that actually exist these days. The fact that your dedicated is nice, for now. It will soon run out when you have 30+ people constantly messaging you either, suggesting, reporting bugs or just generally moaning, then theres the ones that ask for levels - the ones that ask for items. Then occasionally the ones that abuse you.
Although there looks to be 2 of you to share this load, so hopefully you'll handle it better.

I have some ideas you could probably use, but i'll wait to see what gameplays like before i suggest them or if they'd even be relevant here.

but these are the main problems what server's has. the people who own the server just has to try his best if they dont like it they can logout and dont return ben is trying his best with the return of OldSchool. to bring a new server which is fully modded not a server which is mainly EURO based. thats why bon has my respect in this department.
