basically wot we've done is allowed lvl 30-50 items drop off mobs, but ud only get maybe 1-2 per hunt as u said, however if u was to kill say 10 boss's, ud most likely get a few.Bon just a suggestion m8.
I never liked alphaphrozen servers cause of their drop rates.There were no rares and that applied for ur Oldskool 1.4 server as well.You are an experienced mir player and im sure u know that best fun in game other than pvp is boss-hunting.Plz make it worth the effort.
I like the chance of getting 1-2item drops from norm mobs during an exp hunt but i strongly believe that rares should come from bosses.Anyway im sure u can understand wot im saying and balance it (if u havent already)
Also since we talk about a 2.3 server dont forget that orbs are ingame so having items with super stats aint really needed since u can always gem/orb em unlike 1.4 servers
Finally i would suggest u have some low lvl items (such as mir items) that will have very nice stats and will also be very rare.I always liked that.
considerin up to about lvl 20 its 1 level per mob i cant see how itsa problem.. lolsounds good, ill give it a bash
hate the sound of doing 1-40 again in a day (rly cba with that **** lol, shud start at level 40, and just make it abit harder tbh), ill probs get bored at lvl 4 and a log off.
But meh ill try it neway.

its very different from the 1.4 version, obviously because 1.4 had multipe class spells, and instant pots.Well i just wouldnt like see ppl having exactly the same same kit if u get me.It doesnt look good every lvl45 war/wiz/tao having the same lvl45 full kit.Hopefully wot u are trying to do will work out.Im sure u dont like it either.
Also since i believe not every1 will have FW like previous server i hope that caves will be all 3 classes oriented.That means not 1million mobs in 1 spot obviously(that would kill server resources neway).
PS.Good drop files make a server worthy.Doesnt matter how many features it has if it doesnt have nice worked-out drop files.Hope u agree on that and make em as good as possible

You are using TD's files i suppose?How is slow/pa/poison/curse working?Is it like MR ish?
To be more exact.Is pa/slow working a lot(not talking about power/duration) like MR?
What are your intentions about poison strength?(imo should do some decent dmg since its high rate server)
How are u going to deal with curse problems?Since its going to be high stat server curse is gonna last like 50secs lol.
Finnally i hope u are aware that orb/gem chances+curse+poison+mob that para are somehow connected (or at least they used to be on mirrevenge that also uses TD's files).
1.please tell me you have removed instant pots as wiz with instant pots = ownage lol ( well any class really )
2.will you be having the sabuk wall caves ect ?
3. do only some warrior sub class's get tdb / fs and others dont ?

I finished the ridiculously complicated SubClass system just this morning and now it is 100% Working and in effect ...
Ive totally redone the SkillBooks to compensate for all 15 SubClasses , so bookdrops will still be in the files and double clicking a book will still learn it (arent I awesome? :P )
I just have to make a few more changes to the Item DB to replace the old books with my new books and then its just a case of us reworking the drops tommorrow ... Were still good for an early Weekend release ...
No matter what 2.3 server you have played ... nothing has this many features .. were bringing in fresh Ideas and a fresh subclass system that lets you decide how you want to play ...
By the Morning we'll Edit a complete List of the Skills Available to Each SubClass in the 1st post so people know exactly which class they wanna be ...
Be warned however : tweaks will definately occur as ofcourse just me and Benny cant test all 15 types of chara in mass pvp situations :P

Unlike certain servers that ask for player ideas then do jack-shyte once they receive them , If a systems possible , I will add it the very next day ...
whatever NPC script Idea you have , or pvp system idea or guildwar system idea , no matter how complex it may seem to implement , feel free to post it , If its possible I will Script it the same day and implement it , crediting it to the Inventor ofcourse :P ...

The class system isn't complicated, its just the people who make servers are un-educated fools looking for a quick fix of attention and power online. Im guessing a little title above your name saying your new class? Then a permanent name color change? Sharing spells among classes has never been hard, its just many choose to stick to the standard mir design... as it tends to bring in more players. Just looking at it from a different angle.
Also everything on your server has been done at one time or another, in one place or another. The only way to get originality these days is if you can hard code onto the existing files like Meteroa server does.
