I honestly don't know what i think. There is obviously secret experiments, and advanced engineering happening behind the scenes so to speak. TV shows make me think about this kind of stuff alot, Fringe and Prison Break being the main ones about conspiracies. I'd like to think stuff like this is happening, i really would, as if anything it shows how the world should be working, people do always seem to need some form of leader, and power is something many people work their lives towards.

no any conspiracy. so yeah that would be one. i dont think he is actually dead. but kno knows.

and the twin towers thing, i think it was actually bio who posted on here on the 11th of september to say we shouldnt have the minute silence because it was the US government who did it all.

could be mistaken tho.

Twin towers is steep, due to the loss and grief it caused, but the evidence sadly points towards some government involvement. It's a tough one. As is the moon landing, and what exactly is in Area 51.
But you find interesting points in so many films, just a mainstream example is Transformers, the special government division that even the president guy didn't know of (not too hot on the film exactly), but i bet there could be departments like that. If people know of the SAS but still don't know they're exact training requirements and regieme they have to endure to join the force, how can we even know about the more secret organisations?
Another interesting film is The Bank Job, a british film it's about a robbery that was bigger than The Great Train Robbery, it was in the media for a tiny moment before being completely covered up and vanishing. And that was a true story of the 60's/70's ish.

jack the ripper is one of the oldest conspiricy theories, quite interesting aswell if u read different people's accounts of ''who dun it''

few years back i got into the whole jack the ripper thing quite a bit, not because of the crimes commited but because of how many different stories and theories there actually are

9/11 was a tragedy, but look at the advantages that it gave the American Government. Two buildings that needed to be destroyed due to the presence of Asbestos. The way they collapsed, just like a building that is being demolished, inwards. The fact that certain floors were closed off. How it gave America an 'enemy', someone to direct the publics hate towards, and a reason to start a war that truthfully revolves around oil.

That country thrives on war. Peace is not in its interests, which is why I pray for Barack Obama and his diplomatic ways.

On another note, what about theories about Freemasons etc, have you seen the tiny owl on a one dollar bill right in the corner, the owl being something Masonic related, can't remember why though : http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Evils in Government/Federal Reserve Scam/dollar_owl.jpg

Ok i did have a huge post typed but before my net decided it would die on me.

Anywho... The dollar bill is full of Freemason and Illuminati symbols. I got totally sucked in by this a few years ago whilst researching a project.

HERE kinda explains some of the ins and outs of it all.

(thats alot shorter than my original but i cant be arsed tbh.)

Conspiracies are part of everyday life, whether it be goverment or in day to day working life.

Everything we see, feel and envisage is all part of a conspiracie in one form or other.

99% of conspiracies are full of ****e.

this includes:

freemasons/illuminati
9/11
kennedy assassination
moon landing
zeitgeist

basically everything posted in this thread. all of it has been soundly debunked time and time again, but conspiracy theories never disappear because it is impossible to convince a conspiracy theorist that they are wrong because there's nothing that scares them more than being part of the majority, even when all evidence points to the majority being right. it gives their lives meaning, being part of a revolution of sorts and rebelling against the man. others simply see it on TV and think it must be true.

i am interested in conspiracies all the same and will happily answer any questions people have about the above. I'll start with some of those already in this thread.

"the same backdrop was used twice in the moon landing"

this one is simple. the two pictures were taken a few meters apart from each other, and the mountains are large enough and far away enough that they remain both in view and in similar places in the camera shot. it's like if youve ever been going along in a car at night and looked out of the window at the moon, it pretty much wont leave the frame of your window until you take a turn. It's called a parallax. objects in the distance appear to move more slowly relative to the viewer than those in the foreground.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parallax

The twin tower collapse resembled a controlled demolition

actually it didnt. at all. watch any video of a demolition and take note of the sound and the position the building appears to be collapsing from. controlled demolitions require the detonation of thousands of explosives in series, creating several successive bangs audible from miles around. The building will then appear to fall into the ground.

in contrast the WTC 'peeled' down from the top after having the top portion above the crash collapse into it, and no charges can be heard in any recordings. there are explosions, obviously, an airliner just flew into a skyscraper, but nothing like a controlled demolition.

for reference:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlGmnKvOhlg

now watch any WTC collapse video and tell me if you hear anything similar.

Something to think about considering whether such an operation was even possible:

the largest building every demolished required 4,118 charges and 36,000 feet of detcord to take down. it took 12 men about a month to set this up, and this was obviously an empty building that had been prepped for demolition. that building was 440 feet tall with a 204,000 square meter floor area. The WTC was 1,700 feet tall with an 800,000 square meter floor area.

Still think it could be demolished without anyone noticing something was up?

Vannaroth, so you're basically saying that no conspiracies at all actually exist?

So you don't believe in advances in technology or science? That would be just like saying that any advances in technology aren't possible, if this was the case then we wouldn't have things like computers and aircraft. I'm sure at some point things like these were all conspiracies so to speak.

Im pretty sure the conspiracy was because not of a parallax but because that NASA said that these pictures where taken miles away from that scene and on a diffrent day
