Cheers, might look at doing that then, means i get a decent GFX card too
Yeah, you usualy get a decent benefit when playing games with a better graphics card.
Besides, the AMD 6000+ is a fantastic CPU.

Might i just add the 7750 is faster than the 6000+ @ 2.7Ghz while the 6000+ is at 3.0/3.1 Ghz, its based on the Phenom archi, it is better than the E5200 at stock and outperforms in a lot of benches. If Skyline is willing to get an AMD, i really wouldn't recommend getting a Windsor/Brisbane right now as there better for near enough the same price.

EDIT: Is your Motherboard AM2+? link isn't working.
i know Xp doesnt mate, but as I said was jsut as cheap to buy it as a double of 2gig than buy single![]()
Those two links are to the CPU mate
XP HOME on 32bit doesn't support 4GB, but windows XP PRO CORP does support upto 6gb.Btw Skyline, XP doesnt support 4GB of ram.
Looks like I cantuse the CPU with my mobo?

If you mean whats the difference in the Black Edition and normal edition. Its basically only the Black Edition's have unlocked multipliers for overclocking.
side question...
what's the difference (for example on a Q9550 it's locked to 6.0-8.5)
8.5*400 = 3400
6.0*566 = 3400
is there a power/temperature difference? (assuming they are all stable)
I use 400 because it's 1:1 with my DDR2-800.
