Just found I have lost my entire std_items db, had 7-8 months work there and its all gone, appears someone hacked my server pc, corrupted the backups of my databases, my rungate and deleted the std_items database as I was backing them up... clearly they were watching what I was doing and must have had such a great laugh for them.

Anyway... what I was hoping, is that some generous soul out there might consider making me a new copy for a Medium Rate server, so if you feel generous I'd appreciate it :)

Thanks and yeah i do backups automattically every day, then back them up to usb stick, problem is the data got corrupted as i did the back up so lost the data in the actual backup :( Main issue was i overwrite the backups to avoid loads of different backups... maybe I should stop doing that once I'm running again, or put dates on folders and seperate them so I know what backup is what.

Well, look at it from my point of view...

1: I get abuse from someone in game, so I ban them and delete accounts/chars.

2: next thing I know server goes down and when I start it up again got so many errors you won't believe it.

3: spend 2-3 days trying to fix it, and rungate is blocked/corrupted some how. Finally start getting somewhere to find std_items database is deleted as I'm backing it up, how is that not dodgy? Clearly I p****d off who ever it was I banned and this is their idea of payback... There are a lot of malicious people out there and mine isn't the first server to suffer this problem, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same person behind it all.
