whats ur mg like? u had much problems with it? im lookin at gettin 1

Not a bad little car, like I've posted in my previous post I had a rover 25 which is a zr without a bodykit (1.4) only problem your going to have is getting new parts but there's alot out there which people break. And the zr seems to get alot of people installing the 2.0 petrol turbo from other rover models if you decide further down the line you want more power....
It's upto you what you want.. I would keep away from Saxos/corsas/civics as there a prone boy racer car and will have high insurance band

Got a Golf GT now, but the MG was OK.

Fun to drive, nippy for a 1.4 and I never had any real issues. Exhaust broke off at the back, but thats not unusual and happens on all cars, and also had a oil leak, that cost me £5 to fix it at a garage.

At 17 i bought a £500 fiesta 1.1 (the real oldschool style ones).
Private drive, living on a private road, nice enough area.
Still cost £1200 for the year under mum's name with me as additional driver.

But that was a few years ago now.

thers alot of difference between the rover and the mg,the mg has all different suspension and settings for a start so handles different.

i dnt go into changing the engines etc., standard would do me.

I had a quote on my 1.4 hdi pug, 1500. By adrain flux, they are really good with first car drivers.

You want cheaper insurance, have a sex change.

just been pricin up insurance for myself.

it seems that if you put the car will be left on street instead of like a drive or garage, your insurance is cheaper if it is on street.

this is because there is less chance of your car being singled out, whereas in a garage people break into garages so chance of the car being damaged etc. if u get me lol

£100 cheaper if i put street instead of drive, and its £200 cheaper then garage

Wouldn't know much about car insurance as im currently riding a Cbr 600,

But my brothers insurance went right down @ the age of 21, Insurance when ur 17 is gonna be qwite a bit, and insurance is cheaper if you buy a car outa the EU for instance a Ford, a Ford Fiesta 02 place and Renault Clio 02 plate both same engine size etc etc, ford will cost less to ensure. i think this is because parts are easier to get for cars outa the EU Region.

for £500 dont see why u dont try get a pug 106, nice little cars tbh.
