Love the idea of the whole fireball doesnt stop until it hits, but I think it should fade out after extensive distance could be silly if it travels from one side of bw to the other)

Well I have been talking it over with the File guy, and basically we come up with first 1 - 5 levels increases the speed it moves/ distance, the next 1 - 5 levels increases the power, last level (10th ) will add something like I dunno an element, or random effect.
But you get the idea I hope, Some other skill changes are planned some you'll love but not prepared to release these ideas.
Thing is though, what semi-intelligent spy makes their spy character on the same account as their main?lol im not trying to bring back up any of the flame but I still see the name ordeal pretty pointless. It doesnt cause anything bad.. and wont confuse anyone. I do like iJam's idea of displaying the level on Ctrl+ Right click. The guild thing im not a masssive fan of. Spys have always been part of the game, would be pretty sad if it got taken away.

soz mate, didnt see this before.. they released a new version of the game and it had at least 10 players on which was quite decent for woool to be fair =P let me know if your gna give it ago. The old version doesnt have anyone playing I dont think.. Logged on at the weekend with my brother and we were the only players.
Every person who creates a server, wether it be from source code or the available files. Everyone has the right to have there have their own ideas implemented in to such a server, so yes please continue with the constructive criticism to aid Jamie in his development. But please stop with the utter "crap" I have read over the last few pages, if it continues. Those of you who have been warned will receive more stringent infractions.

Well if I was an artist I could draw the shape that the project is in, I mean I can see it clearly in my mind but that's no good being there as you can't see it...
I am not one for words so I cannot explanation won't be very accurate at this stage.
All is still going good and going strong, Currently I have been doing the server in individual sections, Mob AI, Network, Engine Controls, Data Management etc etc etc.
I am finishing the last few sections off and then I will reconnect the two once that's done Everything should be working except for NPCs and Spells (Two things that are separate and easy to add).

I have been thinking of some new skills, for this example I'll turn to the skill: fireball (Fireball won't function like this.. well maybe we will see). It's movement speed depends on the level of the skill, it flies in the direction you fire won't stop until it hits a player / wall within the distance, so rather then locking on to a player or mob, you fire it in the direction you want to aim, Spell level could effect the distance the speed additional effects such as when a successful hit Firebang happens, or other random effects.
This is just an Idea which will be extremely easy to add.
Would be funny to see a group of 10 wizards in a line all firing Fireball in the same direction... Flanking people in sabuk wall and stuff
Anyway.
On topic, Its going well I can't give an ETA at this stage.

Thats how i understood it to be..
So it would only hit one object, where as lightning and hellfire hits all mobs/people it comes into contact with rather than a single object.
