@ MrIce just going through technical issues, plus it wont be up for quite a while. We need to polish things.

Update:

New! Camalot Tax

We will be adding a feature in Camalot which is basically your common tax fee's. For using NPC's you will be taxed in order to pay for the Guards Of Camalot Castle wages. Don't worry it will not depend on how wealthy you are on your % of tax fee. But to use npc's in the provinces you will be taxed. Please note, there will be 1 tax free province but this province will have your basic npc's in. This is due to, we can't let players start off getting taxed straight away. Wouldn't be a nice feeling from a players point of view.

Camalot Castle is going to be a castle worth fighting for!

Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

Dont wanna sound weird but you basicly made prices on some item npc's or tele npc's or whatever kinda higher and you expect feedback on that?What you wanna hear?Great idea?**** idea?Just doesnt sound like a feature to me really...

the tax is what is the castle's fund? If so, depends on how rare money is on your server, if gold drops plenty then even if the castle fund is 100 million a week, won't make a difference. Only way you are going to make it mean anything is by having the economy on a tight rein, and that usually mean small gold drops. (something that generally isn't liked by players) Making an effective economy is probably harder than balancing the stats, it's the reason why so many servers end up with gold meaning nothing, and items can only be traded for. Good luck with that, what you are attempting is not going to be easy at all.

I was only asking users what they thought. Basically we are trying a different feel to mir. Bringing real life stuff into place. Paying tax to pay for guards making the provinces safe of monsters. Provinces are not going to be filled with hens, sheep etc. Yes in the mystic creek you will have farm animals to start with but you will have mines. Provinces monsters will evolve as you evolve.

We know what mir users want, PvP which we are focusing around it. Balancing stats, pets etc.

Gold will not be like euro, but it will not be very high like dorf said 100mil with a week. Will be a challenge but not so much of a challenge that you will not be able to hunt.

Due to gold not being very high we are thinking of implementing a Bonus NPC e.g. it will give you (HP) & (MP)Bundles every 4 hours so you will not have to keep splashing your gold.

The handing out of buns to hunt is quite a good way of reducing gold drop rate with the bonus of keeping the economy under control. It is most pleasing to see much thought is going into this server. That's the problem with keeping gold relevant, once there's too much, it basically is unrepairable..

Yeah, all I see nowadays is servers which allow users to get 100million within a day. Dropping goldchest here there and everywhere. We are trying to create something different. Something unseen and never been done. The economy will not be high it will be moderate to keep repairing and special repairing an achievement but at the same time doable. We are focusing on getting into players minds to create want you want but not have it given to you.

Redone most euro stuff, such as npcs, maps etc. However there will be some euro feel to it.

New! Tutor NPC

As Camalot will have a new feel and most euro maps are out but being reused. We have also modded the orignals provinces which will be in place such as BichonProvince and MudWall(now known as MudWallFortress). Users will need someone to guide them. Well here it is, a tutor npc will guide you on how to level/boss hunt/gold hunt. Whether you take the Tutors advise is entirely your choice.

This NPC is too help out any new comers to mir and Camalot.

Well try to explain your ideas.I still aint sure how those "taxes" are gonna be used etc.If sabuk holder or wotever gets em from all npc's i can understand the meaning of it(as long it aint OPed and cash has a meaning).If its to pay...guards then i simply dont like it and sounds pointless.

Dont try that hard to make your server unique.The files you are using are unique on their own so all you gotta do is use their features properly,make a huge item db and good drop files and thats it.No1 will care for example if the above arent working well if you add a province called Casablanca and you can change gender there...

No am just making sure Camalot members/leaders have something to look forward too. The tax will be just a cost to use the npcs to say you are not in Camalot guild and Camalot owns these npcs. All basic npc's such as armour/weapon/groceries/potions etc are non taxable npc's. It will be the main npc's what will charge tax.

The tax system is quite easy to implement so it isant pointless.

Update:

New! Player Points

Player Points are gained from finding PlayerTokens. They come in different sizes and can be traded in for some valuable equipment in which your Character will need.

New! Camalot Thank You Gifts

Camalot values it's players and their efforts to become the best. So as a achievement we will be adding a system that will reward you ever X amount of levels. Whether it be a pet, items or playerpoints. Who knows, try and found out?

Update:

Server progressing very smoothly.

- Tier 1 Items completed (These items are the base items). Tier 2 will be the rare items and Tier 3 will be the SuperRare. Prefix's will be included to save players confusion.
- Gift System has been made.
- Player Points been made.
- Mystic Creek fully completed.
- Bichon Province nearly completed.
- Skills now require manuals to learn the skills. (NPC taught).

We have now decided not go ahead with the Subclass System. However I will keep the full script, scripted into the server incase we we bring it in the near future. We are however replacing it with a feature called 'Heaven & Hell'. Please read below to find out what this feature is.

New! 'Heaven & Hell'

Well am guessing you know the difference between the two. When you joint this server you will be prompt with a message saying 'Heaven & Hell'. You will have to decide which root to take, undoing this feature will be a no go so choose wisely mirians. Heaven will be for the pure soul providing the warriors of god with a blessing. Feeling dark mirian? Choose the Hell route if you are an aggresive player. Satan will embrace your loyallity and reward you.

Want to know the rewards and perks of both 'Heaven & Hell'? Come try it out yourself.

It's all about choices on Camalot. There will be a brief description at start to supply you with a inncentive on what each is however, we wont be giving too much away. We want users to explor different player types whether it be a tanking warrior or an aggresive warrior. For example:

I joined Camalot and chose Heaven, I will get the Heaven perks plus the Elemental Era boost which would be Destructive. You could have a pure destructive soul. However if you picked Hell and destructive you would be a power mad warrior. Each method you choose will have its perks and will all balance each other out.

Its not that much of a big deal, they will be made to balance out so there will be benefits and disadvantages of both.

Knowone said anything about not being able to pk.

Any chance you can explain this on the server advert? I don't particularly want to go down the hell route to find it's totally at odds with my style of play.. Also some more descriptive text on what the elements do and how it affects gameplay would really help.
