Problem/joke which ever

When you click a mob you run over and start hitting it...understandable.

When you click a person you should not follow this person round. Makes pvps and warriors OP. If you're pvping on a war you should have to click shift to attack. Currently atm all these nubs need to do it click on the person and follow them round spamming tdb and fs with their OP DC. This needs resolving asap.

I am slightly confused, is this by holding shift? If that is the case, this has always been in and would drastically effect the usability of warrior. If it is a click and follow process then we will most certainly look into it.

No samuel - its click the player and follow - no shift involved. That's the point

I have highlighted this one to td, he might have a better understanding on this one than me... If not I will look into it, defo shouldn't be able to click on players like mobs though lol.

I wouldn't bother looking into it. It's only in for SW and should stay that way unless you plan on getting rid of FW in palace.

Yeah just keep it in so the warriors have a great advantage -.-
The population of the server is 50% as they are over powered as it is.

as far as i can tell (judging by what i can see in other sourcecodes)
i looked in dm2 and phili code btw.

this has always been a feature and isnt a bug.
during any war (be it sabuk war or just guildwar): you can just left click your opponent as if he's an enemy/mob

Not on Euro. EVER
I dont understand why they would implement something that would benefit a certain class?

you mean like a.speed? lol,

a lot of things in this game are overlooked because its how its always been, but just because its always been this way doesn't mean its balanced.

Nooo. When you pvp on a warrior. You lock with left click then when you want to hit them you click shift....not here... you just left click and follow them round like a little puppy. This isn't how it's meant to be.

This is only during wars not in general?
Don't think you understood, he was saying a.speed is something in the game that only benefits a warr. There's no cast speed+ in game to balance.

well look at it this way, every other class doesnt have to hit shift so why should warrior? its only when there is a sabuk war so i dont see the problem, you are not guna be far away from someone to hit anyway.

tao and wizz can hit from the other side of the screen maybe thats unfair?

and yes i only noticed it when i was at the war, never noticed it on any other server, but also never really played a warrior on any other server especially at war.

Im a warrior, and my 2 cents is this feature is awful. I dont wanna follow someone round automatically. I wondered why the hell it was happening in SW I thought it was a bug. What if I want to change target? Ive got to left click away to stop following one person and then go onto the next. This feature also means I do not have controll over my character, because to stop him moving like a lemming and walking where he best sees fit I have to take the lock off whoever he is chasing, but will have to lock onto them again and so on and so forth. Its an awful feature, and means 2 warriors PVPing have to either A) stand toe to toe and slash it out, or B) run round in circles getting hits in here and there - the old element of slowly walking and timing your hits is gone.

Out of SW as well, holding shift auto makes your char run after the person you are PvPing. I hate this as well. In euro mir you used to have to run manually with right mouse click, and keeping hold of shift would auto hit the player you are locked onto but ONLY when there was an opportunity to do so. At the minute, keeping hold of shift means your player makes his own mind up where to run, its awful :(

Tbh mate I think you could hold shift to follow them round. It's just only crap pvper would do that ;)

God, your telling me you played the whole of euro without realizing you didn't have to shift+click every time? PVP on a warr must of been hell for you.

Its always been were once you've shift+clicked once you lock onto that person.... so you could run around the screen then when you got close you press shift and you'd auto attack.

This has always been the case.....it wouldnt run after them tho, only walk...
