Speed cap

Whats the servers Attack Speed cap. as i think someone said it was +8 which sounds low as when sins come in with haste skill.

on 2.3 I believe it was 12 you stopped noticing a significant difference. But the cap was something like 16 but yeah the difference between 12 and 16 was negligible.

Can't imagine the cap to be 8.

6 Speed on both rings which = 3
6 Speed on GaleNeckalce = 3
3 Speed on Weapon = 1 1/2

So really you can't reach that 8 cap even if you wanted too, unless use a drug which would be 8 and half speed.

I'm guessing people mean the actual number not the number halved. Why would anyone assume attack speed was half what it says on your character sheet. You can't say stuff like that without explaining.

So your saying if I have speed 1 its really 0.5? and to get speed8 you'd need 16speed? I don't think your right with that.... and from what ive heard the cap is +8 but there is no difference between 7 and 8.

I never knew a.speed is half calculated also although the Anti Magic and Anti Poison stats are half calculated.

this was true on Euro but i dont think on here. a.speed 1 = a.speed 1 on here. where as euro the stat was doubled (thats why all the a.speed items was increased)

confirmation would be nice.

If speed isn't like euro and 8 is cap then that's crap, should be increased.

It could be that Sins (A-speed based I believe) are able to surpass this Cap with the use of a spell (Haste in this case)

Storm Drugs and Haste should allow the user to bypass the "Soft" limit.

well this would require changing the current effect of a.speed to half of what it is atm, which would result in alot of unhappy warriors. but with how the stats a.speed stats on items are copied from euro thats how its supposed to be in the first place.
