The whole advantage to a sin is their high DPS... Sins do not have a high damage counter such as TDB or FF... I think with the increased ATT speed warrs currently have and with the increased magic speed wizards have now, sins will be useless and may as well not be implemented...

How is a sin with HP equivalent to a tao approach a wizard that's shooting 200+ FF's every second? A wizard currently has more DPS than a sin would have and with GDA and shield they are a much heavier tank than a sin could ever be... So - 200 a second on 20 mobs while a sin will struggle to get that on a single mob...

I know this conversation has been going on for a while now but once sins are implemented people will see just how game breaking this is...

So in that case your for the idea of just scraping sin and focusing on balancing and improving what we have. Was that what i was meant to take away from this or just pointless moaning?

Your right i won't, how can i make a comment about the balance and placement of a class not implemented yet? Might as well scream that Ice Blade is OP.

All you are doing is making assumptions based on past experiences of a class from diffrent servers, the sin we see here could be completely diffrent to them, thats more then likely the reason this topic as been avoided.

By giving the other classes an increase in att/magic, sins are useless and nothing can be done to change that... This is like giving warriors flamefield... High DPS is a sin trait, and when you give such a trait to warriors/wiz you screw with the balance.. Of course this is not a subject that can be discussed here , not with 90% of the server being a wizard.

How can you say or know how sin will work on here? Why you wait and see?

But tbh, what you're saying is redundant IMO because Sins aren't in-game and who says they're gonna be a copy/paste of USA Sins when they are? Nothing. The Ace team can change and balance them and do whatever they want with them, and I trust that they will do so accordingly.

So take a seat, stop pondering about what you can whine (sorry if you weren't whining, I got that from the tone of your post though) about next and enjoy the game.

I think sin shouldn't be implanted in the live server however leave the option open when files are released because as you said unless you reinvent the wheel and completely change sins which would be custom in a sense. And I agree that customized stuff that breaks too far away from official really has no place in an "official" emulator.

Just my opinion...

Didn't Samuel say he wants this as close to official as possible? Didn't he say he has no plans to recreate the game? They were reluctant to up the magic speed of wizards but due to the constant moaning and threats of quitting it was done... So yeah I dont think sins here will be any different than on other servers...

+1 Like any game there is the process of trial and error.
If / when assassins will be added they will face the same trial and error process. If there has to be changes to the gameplay of assassins, wizards, warriors or taoists during this process then so be it. You can't perfect everything in one go.

That would be a waste of time though... To add the sin class and go through the same process all over again. It was intended to balance the 3 classes and then add the sin class... So much for that.

Seriously, you just want everything done at the click of your fingers?
These things take time, stop trying to rush and enforce sudden changes to something like this which hasn't even been included yet. It will only prolong the process.

I've seen many successful sins work on different servers. They're (usually) given stealth abilities so they can sneak up on their foes and do BURST-DPS. That's what they do. They aren't supposed to get into a long fight, they're supposed to sneak up to their target and rape them then get the kill / stealth resets and carry on their business.

Of course their disadvantage is if they're caught with their pants down they're pretty much dead. I think 4heroes Sins were pretty fun/balanced imo. Backstab ability meant they had to attack someone from behind (could also cut shield) to actually do their damage. Providing you don't ruin it by giving everyone multi-statted gear, it'll be fine.

But hey, maybe they have something better planned for sins. Won't know until they release it.

When people say official most o lf them mean euro. Not USA Mir which makes sin non existent.

The fact is this can't be official. Exp rates, items, mounts and eventually archers. Nothing from that sounds official to me. I dont like official anyway.

As far as I rember sin weapons never had as much as war equivalent. I thought sins where aspd acc agility class.

Unfortunately I have to agree with Male. This is a useless thread. This thread is redundant. OH THE IRONY!!!
