Possible bug with ranged mobs

So i tested this the other night. Ranged mobs seem to hit you when off your screen when they are above or below you (diagonal as well). But when they are 8+ spaces away on your right or left, they dont hit you because your out of range. I tested this with Winged and CrossBow Omas and 8 spaces away from you up or down is still on your screen. So the question:
Why are ranged mobs not able to hit you from 8+ spaces away on your right or left, but CAN hit you 8+ spaces away when above and below and diagonal?

I think the "Archer" AI is broken in a couple of ways... When I get around to revisiting AI's I will recode it.

Brilliant. Been meaning to post this for ages, nothing worse than trying to get to OK KR quick and crossbows are pinging you 3 screens away >_<

thanks for the reply Sam, much appreciated. Seriously, same with zuma archers lol, so annoying getting hit when no red dots on mini map. This will be an awesome fix

Yeah the pincushion feeling is pretty bad some days when your running through archers lol

Can't even see them but you got 20 arrows slowing you down. :P
