It's not about if you played before, if an apology for closing the server without some people having had any input while the server was still running decently and samuel decided if he hosted the server he'd do it by his rules starting with a wipe. Well some people would get mad over this matter cause they put time into it and he will apologize with a small gift for the people who atleast put some time in. this package was never ment oh you are now level 40 you can get it . No it was ment for if you were 40+ which means you atleast put some time into it oh have this as an apology.

I agree with this. I am a new prospective player. I don't care who played before or what level they were. NEW and OLD players should all be in the same boat.

I can understand the reasoning behind it, to retain old players but they'll play regardless of whatever reward or incentive you throw at them.

IMO the package just goes to show the mentality 'mir under level 40 don't count' (else why not make the cutoff at say level 30 when you can't be said to be just casual player who 'started out but lost interest') which is why pservers have multiple exp and everything easy, which in turn then leads to the same folks moaning about bosses being to easy to get etc etc.

Really the cutoff level should have been set at some level only so pple with multiple store chars don't get the package on each of them. And level 40 strikes me as too high for that. I trust it won't be anything gamebreaking anyway.

On another note, anybody has a hunch what Sam's idea of the server is like? Who was the spoiler of it for him on acemir that wanted to have things done different?

I got to level 50 before and I'm fine with scrapping this package business. Bad idea.
