I have only worked on 1.4 files so i do not know what can or cannot be done but a couple of daily quests that would be chosen at random from a list of quests and to make sure that the quests were not too hard add level requirements to the quests so a lvl 15 for example could not get a quest requiring them to kill anything more difficult than a character of that level is capable of.
Rewards for the daily quests could be something like 8 bundles of pots relevant to the level and class of character completing quest
Warrior - 8HP
Wizard - 7MP 1HP
Taoist - 5MP 3HP
1-10 Smalls 10-22 Mediums 22+ Large
1 reward being gold or lottery tickets and maybe 1 reward being extra exp per kill for 30 minutes and to stop it being overpowered the value of extra exp could be the level of the character completing the quest.
As for what is required in order to complete daily quests it should be something that would allow casual players a chance at completing them.
