Care Package

I know not everyone agrees, But its something you said you would do and people can only take you on your word.
Also some players made an extra push the last few days of the servers life to reach lvl 40 to qualify for it, i even helped a few ppl lvl.

Soooo, any news on what will be on offer? Im sure no one is expecting anything spectacular, but mayb some exp boost scrolls or armour dyes that wont be available to others,or unique weap skin etc etc.

basic items that expire wud be my vote and if ppl still moan over that fk em. No exp, gold boosts or anything like that, its a new server and everyones got over their old characters I think

The care package wasnt some random conversation that people picked up on. Sam came up with this, and even went to the trouble of adding a big fk off book npc thing to the game for this purpose.

So he planned it to go into

Have to agree with both these.

If you start giving "feeling sorry for you" boosts to some players and new people start with nothing, your server will be unbalanced from day one.

I'm elegible for the "care package" (on 2 characters), and I agree. Who was able to reach a so high level don't really need any package.
Forget about it and give us a great server, as well as it seems

Im sure it wont be anything major, so if the team decide to give these 'things' out or not it wont make a huge difference.
I signed up for it on the NPC but I'm not really bothered about getting these 'things'.

Test server? i wouldnt have spent 3+ months getting level 54 if it had been labled as a test server, it wasnt a test server at all and if you had been around more then afew days you would know sam only closed ACE to remake the server as his own not keep working on the server sombody else left behind for him to keep running.


the care package isnt for new people, its mostly for those that played the last server and loved it and put time into it, its his way of giving back to us that put our time into the server and him not just saying "the servers closing F you"

and i feel it should give us vets an early advantage, starting the new server and giving us that have waited around a nice welcome back would be a better way to start things then pissing people off and going back on somthing that was planned, breaking promises isnt the best way to start is it?

only afew of us did make it over 50 so its hardly suprising if the safezone posers that only got upto level 40 arnt as arsed

You think this is the best way to begin a new server? To attract new players? Have them be at a disadvantage to others?
From what I can make out i know this was announced at the end of the other server, but perhaps you should take a step back, see past your own nose and look at how this would be a negative start to a server that is hopefully going to push 100-200 users.

i play mir coz i love the game... ive never started a server on day one, and never worried im left behind, just get on with it and grind, dont worry bout others. The best way to start is how you mean to go on, honour your word.
Im actually not arsed at all about the care package even tho i started the thread, im bored waiting for the game so i been lurking around the forums.
But i do think its important we have faith and trust in what were told by the team, or it leaves us no where, and a CP is what we were told we would have.

What about a Game Shop credits?
Old players will get a xxx£ "welcome back" bonus.
So all the problems will be solved, if the game shop will be balanced will also be the rewards.
At the very least... we will do just one of two problems
