Ok I understand you want this to be low rate but why increase the xp and not drops. It's easy to level and more people are turning 40 now yet most haven't got half there spells. And still in shop kits. I'm not saying flood the server with rares but drops need looking at 40 below books need increasing and item drops need sorting I don't see why frost tiger drops so well yet nothing else does. I have levelled in most areas and bc seems to be the best place for drops due to it having multiple subs. The way it is at the moment I can see more and more not bothering anymore already seeing it with my guild people can't be bothered as have nothing to aim for.

Drops are fine as they are, people have been used to easy MMOs over the years and forgot what a real game feels like. Oooo noez the game has been out just over a month and I don't have the best kit.

I've had loads of drops from leveling alone.

Seriously. I like how these moan threads always tag on to the end of them ''more and more people are leaving'' or the like, yet there's very little variation in the user count at all. Seen so many of these threads predicting a mass exodus lol.

If YOU don't like it and don't enjoy it, stop playing?

I don't think rare item drops need increasing. I like how it is at the moment. The only drops I think could do with changing are loot prices for caves such as PT/PSC and above so people at 35-40+ don't have to resort to hunting BC/ST for cash in order to level.

mayb unrelated but the user count has dropped by 100+ players in the last 3weeks, as for the drops IMO being used to euro I like things as they are :)

That's always going to happen though after the initial rush. I see it hitting 500 regularly which pretty consistent and better than any private server I've played. They're obviously doing something right - which isn't the impression you'd get if you browsed this forum. As I said somewhere else, vocal minority etc etc.

I agree that rares should be rare but we could see the higher level places dropping so rares abit more often. On a server where players are expected to be close to level 60 to get max level on their skills you can't expect dragon rings and powering to be as rare as they are on here.

I am enjoying the game al

I am enjoying the game a lot (apart from being a boring ass warrior with nothing new until level 48ish).

Most of us didn't play euro, not because it was hard but because it was boring.

Yea' bit like most of the people on slightly grindy MMOs over the years "It's not hard it's just boring." It is/was hard don't lie.

Mir is absolutely not hard. lol

You click and press keys. I find it boring but play for nostalgia, but mostly cause of the sense of competition it provides on two aspects, kit, and levels. Dont seem to get that from other games as the communities are so spread out. Mir you generally atleast know of the top 100players or so. Some people more depending on mental capacity.

I outleveled alot of people early on and am at lvl 42 currently not playing. The kit competition is alright here but you gotta put **** loads of hours in. 90% of the time you will kill a boss and get nothing. Just gotta be lucky!

You're right Mir isn't hard but to some people it is. Any game is just click and press keys but some are better at it than others. People don't like admitting something is too hard for them so they say it's boring so they can feel better about it.

That's what Mir is about, it's from the original days of putting in many a hour to get good stuff and/or level.

The amount of work I put into Euro so I could get a SerpentSword was immense! You guys have nothing to complain about, count yourselves lucky that you actually have a team of developers willing to help you and listen to your moaning...Back in the day, the rates never changed regardless lol.

Now if we really wanted to recreate the "Euro" experience, we'd need to hire a bunch of clueless Italians and have them do some "events" where some of the rarest items in the game drop from hens.

One has to wonder just how many para rings, tele rings etc would have existed on Euro before it's demise if stupid events like that (which people still look back on with fond memories anyway it seems) had never happened.

Yea people often forget about the events that probably contributed 90-95% (figure plucked from my ample behind) of the top end items (para's, sowg, BoS, HS etc). I remember getting a SoWG and HS from that 5th Anniversary thingy where you had to roll dice or something and that was doing it manually. God knows how much stuff the people that had macros set up were getting.

there listening to moaning cause they want to keep the user count no othe reason, and i dont know why everyone is comparing this to official, its a private server with times 2-3 Xp....the reason everyone is complaining is because its much easier to level but isn't much easier to get items, nobody has time to play this for hours everyday (only a few) and it's the ones who can geek this server that arnt complaining because they get the chance to camp bosses

It depends what people class as a rare lol. I think proper rares are just the right drop rate tbh. Im really glad there doesn't seem to be any Flame fields, heaven arms etc yet. In my opinion though any skill under 40 shud only be semi rare to common... lvl 26 weps shudnt be rare at all, 30 weps vaguely semi rarish, 30+ weps rareish, 40 weps ofc rare, yet 500 ppl playing daily in over a month cant get a 30+ wep drop? I think certain items and skills drops 26-40 cud do wiv a little tweak but in general im happy everything isn't common and worthless.
