Today im going to experiment.... I have a free night without the misses and no work tomorrow... soo im gunna do some "levelling" really in search of items while getting exp.

Im going to do what most people don't... and reveal what I get drop and where

Watch this space as I will edit if/what I get. (8-12 hours of non stop.. this should be enough time..)

I will hunt an hour alternatively in the following areas... Orcs/PB/BDD (maybe more) These areas I class as high (orcs I would call elite.)

If the monster is listed here http://www.mirchronicles.com/monster.php as being part of a cave then it will have drops related to that cave, this includes all floors from lobby to kingsroom

So, I would take this comment to mean. ET and ES on 1f of BDD, Can drop anything up to what IZT and DD can drop. As they are related to the same cave? :P

In a way yes some of the items in their drops would be the same but not at the same rate.
Also remember ET and ES are multi cave monster so this makes them unique in their own right.

BDD is a strange cave to find a nice balance but trust me all caves are different.

Just do not be expecting a super rare to drop from the first monster you kill, it still is random after all just a lower rate of random.

Mid Level/Tier Zones

We'll I hope you have taken into account BDD 1f. As the drops there were terrible and it's a decent place where a lot of people level. Would be nice to get a half decent item now and then from an ET or ES and not just the reals, as on euro this was the place to get profiled/rage books aswell as 30/36 weps

You never got pro field, rage, 30 weapons or 36 weapons off normal mobs in BDD on euro, stop making up stuff.

I know you don't want to reveal too much, but could you be so kind to tell us if you have got round to altering Yims, Fox, Frozen bosses yet, mainly due to the fact I can kill a DD and get a better drop than these on the old rates, so its not worth the hassle.

. You need to be level 40 to get to PB (without the item) so to me PB would be the low end of high tier monsters.

Min lvl for PB is 33 with TSP, theres room for interpretation.

...but there is still a chance that the same item will drop from a normal monster, you just not going to get a SwordofWarGod from a Mino.

No one expecting that sort of thing(I hope), who ever gets any sort of rare item from hunting high level mobs should come forward I wonder.

atm we have;
- rare - power, violet and titan rings and equivalent items
- super rare - boundless, thunder and taeguk rings and equivalent items
- mega rare - fox items

but i would say they are meant to all be one step less rare ie boundlessrings should be rare not super rare.

Well fox drops are a joke. I've killed boss 11 times and no drop cept random crap like frost boss drops. Except it requires alot more coordination.

I hate to compare to euro but in 4 bosses (12hour camp) we would usually get atleast 1 fox item. Theyre not that op just a gemmers delight.

Fox items werent in Fox Boss files when leaked. Who knows if theyre added now, but Fox boss drops lvl 33 armours so ppl cba to go kill it. Fox boss is relatively weak though, would suggest beefing it up and maybe adding Super Fox mobs in kr to juice it up abit. Make it a real effort, but make the drops worth it.

i dont think fox items were in the files on the last server either! atleast not the mass dropping foxes didnt drop them and most foxes were mass droppers on AceM2.... dont ask how i know ill get banned for spreading rumors... even if true :P

load AceM2 drop files onto chronicles, atleast people will know stuff drops and be able to level with the chance of somthing nice!

I hope you do not class me as 1 of the 6 as I never said that the drops where fine.

The drops files have all the items in them, just some of the rates where a little crazy.
A lot of bosses had drop files that where very similar but this will not be the case by the end of this week and each normal monster and boss will have its own unique drop files and drop rates.

I plan to make a thread on Thursday to update players

A number of caves have been updated and there has been no comments good or bad
A couple more will be updated tonight

If I tell people a cave has been updated they will all run there and then the moans will start again if the items they want does not drop.
By not telling people (yet) it give me a chance to see if its all working and players also have the surprise factor when something does drop.

"high lvl cave mob" = so could be an orc, a pb a ship mob.
"mid level boss" = so iwt, izt, ikh
just to show all the non believers that the files have been done.

I was planning to do something like this and also explain my thinking behind the drops in a new thread.

If I get time it will be posted later tonight.

As I have said many times before we (the team) want a server that all players enjoy and feedback from players help us to do this.

I post as often as I can to keep you all updated as to what is going on.
