Seperate Armours for sins + archers.

Was just having a look through the chronicles website, and despite being told there is a Heaven Armour for sins and archers, its not listed?

I dont think its fair for an armour to be used by 3 classes and not by the other 2. For the simple fact, that even if there are such armours like this in the files.. Warrs / Taos / Wizz are 3x more likely to get an armour like this drop than the other 2 classes.

It will work the same as crystal armour. no matter what class you are it will adjust to that class. Just cause it's not on the site it doesn't mean it's not there lol, jumping the gun a bit making a thread saying it's unfair.

Heaven armour is usuable by only Warr / Wizz / Tao.. So no, im not jumping the gun.

Heaven Armor is Warrior Wizard and Taoist only... there are separate graphics for the Sin and Archer.

It SHOULD be like the Crystal Armor though, which is why this thread was made.

I agree the items should be multi class but the stats should adjust to that class.
Like heaven armour changes every 10or so levels because you will either get underpowererd for warrior or OP for sin/archer

The drop chance doesnt really make a difference tho. No class has more chance than the other.
There is still a 1/3 chsnce your class can use and a 1/6 chance your gender/class can use providing they all share the same drop chance.
The main difference is the triclass version will have more people bidding - in theory.

I cant see a version of heaven armour on the website for either sin or archers though?

We have a field in the database called ShowOnWeb. We set this to yes or no depending on the item.

These armours while they are in my drop files, have been set to not show on web because we have not finalized the stats or looks for them.

Archer and assassin armour and weapons have to be different items in the database due to the different graphics needed for those classes.

We are working on a way to have armours that will change depending on class but this still needs to be coded to tell the client what graphics to use depending on class.

I didn't think they were, about 10 lvl 44 armours drop an not 1 being sin,archer? just made me think that's all

Yep they are.
Some of you prob seen me say this before but the randomness of drop files is crazy.

If you think about it there are 10 lvl 44 armours, 6 for war, Wiz and Tao, 4 for archer and assassin that's s 60/40 split.

Yes it is a bit mad that assassin and archer ones have not dropped but that is the craziness of the random system.

When we started the project we decided to go with Shanda's version of Mir, this decision was made because they had 32-bit maps, magics and they had already released Archer (at this point there was no talk of WeMade doing an Archer)...

Although 32-bit Maps, Magics and Archer are awesome, the draw back was that Shanda did not do Heaven and Mir Armour Graphics for Assassin and Archer...

I see the question popping up "So why not use Wemades heaven armour?" Becuase they used different sprites and the hairs, weapons, magics from Shanda would not line up.

I will have a chat with BabyHack tonight about potentially converting the Assassin/Archer graphics over to wemades version.

Would be awsome to have them as they was, as from the beta videos the sin mir arm is just a different colour crystal arm..

I thought this day would come when we decided to go with Shanda, I had hoped they would update sooner though, but it appears (like WeMade) they do one big update a year...

So the 44 armours for sin/archer are in game, but the heaven/mir are not?

My answer to this was to keep armours for the 3 classes... fine. But use other items in a way that only Tao+Arch+Sin can use, other things Sin+Tao+War can use, etc etc

But then my road map is different lvl1-80+

Think at the moment in terms of Taos favor 1 type of item, overload more weapons for Wars, new BUJUK items for Sins, extra stones for... and so on.
