Yet again you show how much you know about LegendOfMir ;) Did you ever try to RT in WT KR? Did you ever try and run away on an Archer from WT/IWT, specially when they rage? Obviously not...

A TigerNeck works wonder, unfortunately doesn't it suit many players as they rather run around in highest DC/MC/SC kit and complain afterwoods how easy they could be killed. And again, as you obviously missed the point, why not nerfing the chance of a critical hit rather than destroying a class? What happens, when Warriors getting Rage and SOWG? Will this class be nerfed as well?
Tiger necky may work wonders but it's not suppose to work as effectively as it does. A ranged class should NOT be able to one hit any other class of similar level to it. its just basic common sense.

Warriors rs have been able to one hit other classes on every server I have played on.

There is obviously some sort of bug that is multiplying archers damage all round. And by the looks of it there is also a very similar bug that is affecting wizards but with reverse effect. a wizard shouldn't be hitting less than his max mc constantly.

I knew new from the first time read the skill arrow barrage that it was going to be very OP. Although from reading it you would imagine it does less damage than what it actually did. It said something like "summons duplicates to perform the next attack with %50 of the damage". So from reading That you would think that ab summons a copy of the archer that would do half the damage of the next attack.
Archer attack = 150 + duplicate = 75. So this would make the attack do 225 damage. Does the skill add extra duplicates per level? If so that's 150 + 225 = 375. That is a low damage attack that I'm basing this on. If my assumption of the skill is correct... Them it is obviously not going to have a good outcome for balance of the classes.

Normal AB damage + 2x50% = double of base/Archer's hit damage.

Clearly you only spend time in IWT/WT KR and are only at risk of being PKed there and nowhere else. Yep, that's the important thing in my argument, the non-RT location I happened to mention by mistake, not the general concept.

It works wonders.. at a percent chance. Are you comparing the 70% chance to still get one-shot with a tiger necky on to the odds of you landing in front of a War's FS when you RT away from him or the odds of a War hitting a FS/TDB on someone 3 spaces away from them?

Also, 50% of 750 (the number Sam said he got with AB) is still 375, which is pretty much all of a 40 Tao's HP. And no, Warrs will probably not be nerfed even if they hit for 250 level 3 FSs with Rage and SOWG and +3 DC gear, simply because you still have a way of getting away from them.
Again you know not much, why do you keep talking about things you obviously have no clue about? And a warrior can already do a damge of 300+ on a lvl 40+ Archer or lvl 39 tao, so what are you talking about?

We can t really hunt bosses on our own (WT with 60 HP(L) and 8-10 Sun(M) @ lvl 42/ average kit is the only .

You are clearly a very poor archer if you relied on 1 skill to punch damage instead of learning your class and game mechanics to best utilise your class.
Ill help you out with WT, it takes maybe 3 HP pots, there is a sweet spot with WT between his close range and long range attacks. if you stand 2 steps away from him instead of trying to tbolt you he tries to walk towards you. so shoot, 2 step shoot 2 step shoot. you can do this with ease.

if you need any other tips drop me a pm ill be happy to help.
bide your time, while the archer gets fixed, do some mining make some gems, kit up so that you can hit it hard when its fixed.

You're nowhere near polite, mate. Not even in the same ZIP code, really.

"Always wear a TigerNecky while hunting" is not a valid argument to keep AB overpowered and capable of one-shotting anyone over level 38. I'm pretty sure that Tash didn't hunt for XP with a TigerNecky on. So what, the other 4 classes are forced to use a SC1-0 necklace on the off chance that they won't get one-shot and continue to be able to level, if they're lucky? If you think that's fair and balanced you really need to wake up.

Also, which War routinely does 300 damage in one hit (which, FYI, isn't even enough to kill a level 37 Tao at full health)?

How many ways can you change a 10 to a 5 in a database? I'm betting exactly as many as Sam and BH - the one way which lead to the bug that is currently still live.

I was just pointing out that you dont need that many pots for WT even on a level 30 archer. The fact that you think you do would indicate your play style isnt that of an agile (clever) archer and more of a in your face damage damage damage player and in reality an archer regarless of what was should never be a stand and shoot class. it needs to move, it need to think and it needs to use a multitude of skills to survive.

I dont mine much myself, i havnt the time or patience for it, im just suggesting an alternative to get some money/items made ready for when the archer skills are fixed. not to bang on about wizards or assassins but they both need a great deal of work mid-high game (end game gear they are both fine but that gear is unrealistic for 80% of the server) those two classes have either rerolled until fixed, persevered until it gets fixed or just find other things to do in themean time.

The definition of carebare has such a large and misinterpreted meaning, its usually a term thrown at people with actual points to raise but get shot down by the people abusing the "issue" in the first place.
The team do fix things, yes it feels like forever until they do and too long for me to wait around patiently for but its no need to get angry about it. if the game isnt how you want it, dont play it? come back when its "fixed" in yoru opinion.
I am taking a long break from playing, still popping on to stay in touch with friends but other than that you wont see me hunting for awhile as the issues ive raised time and time again are still not sorted and may never be,
again to reffer back to other issues, wizards have been broken for the whole server, archers are now broken for 3 weeks? give it time.
They took weeks to realise that light body was a waste of time on assassins then doubled its potency(still rubbish pve) but atleast in pvp it gives a slight improvement.

I can undertsand your frustraton that more is broke now than it was before the change however the damage the previous break was causing is to a much higher degree than the current "break".
So archers are abit under powered at the moment, they still do damage, can still hunt are still welcome in groups and can still RT in PvP. before the change, they were breaking people, you may not have been involved with many of the fights but i've been hit by a few AB and been killed by a few in 1 shot. those mechanics simply do not add up for a ranged class.
I suggested that AB do the same damage but only has a 2 space range, so your getting the damage boost from "point blank" hit, it brings you within range of other people so that you cant 1 hit from "off the screen" as its often described. i think that would be a perfect fix personally but again its just an opinion.

No offense but I think you are playing the wrong genre if you expect classes to stay as they are in an MMO game.

Even more so when the way it used to be is "brokenly OP and the only class that is able to one-shot half the server" (taking all the lowbies, alts, the level 30s, all the Sins with sod all HP, etc.)

How long does it take doing it your way? You gotta clear an area for running around, make sure WT doesn t see you be4 etc etc. Do you have any idea how weak Archers are atm? By the time that area is cleared and you start killing WT you ll have a respawn and then? Get away from WT, clear again and start killing again?

You said already, that wizzards still need fixing, for how long now? I definitaly won't wait 4-6 month (thats the time wizzards waiting atm?) to get it fixed.

Well, can't think of another name for all the player who cry archers are sooooo OP coz they getting owned. These player always drawing a picture of archers sneaking into fights, step by step, and as soon as they see a (not moving) target they sniper them out. Fact is, targets are moving and obviously not waiting for Archers, they using TigerNecks in pvps, we can't just walk step by step torwards fights and sniper ppl out, thats not working. Archers are the main targets in pvps, once a Deva tao poisoned us we have to RT soon as Deva keeps us flinching while warriors/ sins chasing us. HP pots working quicker than the damage we do atm.
And again: Yeah, wizards probably waiting for a couple of month to be fixed now, and it seems that the server team struggle to fix it, why do they mess around with another class as well? because ppl complained to them that 1 Archer was able to do some serious damage!!!!

We are not just a bit underpowered, we are almost half of what we used to be. I ve been to a lot pvps with TheTashohnie, and he never 1 hitted any warriors when i was with him, we been on skype and used to select the same target with 2-3 AB Archers or he hit a warrior who was chased by DD and was already half HP. For the other classes, wizzards always been an easy target for warriors, thats what they have shields for. I can't remember a wizz beeing 1 hitted when shield was up. Same goes for taos, i can t remember a tao beeing 1 hitted. End of the day does an Archers only has his attacks. We can't TS with Shield, we can't hide, heal, trap, repulse, we can't dash or take many hits. And now our Decoy is broken as well (with a longer cool down than shadow steop anyway). Right now, we have nothing left.

So yeah, I m pretty sure that many ppl incl. me will move on as soon as there r new good servers. this server has / had a high potential, unfortunately is that been wasted by wrong or hectic actions of the server team...

I haven't said the same way, but from being a playable class to a rubbish class is a huge difference.

theres plenty of good dps archers in game , for example Kingtong has 40 wep and after that his kit is pretty crap, but still hits 90 - 150 with fireshot. so if he actually had good kit say like my kit on potato.... the guy would clear up and there would be OP archer threads everywhere.

imo the only change needs done to archers is up AB a tad and lower fireshot damage by 20-25%

archer shouldnt be hitting 100-150+ per hit with fireshot in my eyes. especially not with the kit archers are currently using

i got luck 7 all kitt added to the ballllllls , and i have to CATCH my "prey" lol and i dont hit 100+ per hit .. so FO with your crying over archers there not broken they where overpowerd TO F*CK. now there not, get over it.

If AB was fixed, I wouldn't be so pissed off. But They decided to make it useless rather than nerf it to the correct amount

As I can tell by BH closing my mistaken thread on Market place in a sarcastic manner, hes no longer interested, instead just fed up.

BH you seem to have it in your mind that we expect you to work 24/7 on the server. Where have you got this from? We have been asking for the 3 things I mentioned before for AGES. No offence,, but you worked ages on Hell cave, which 5% of the server can access when instead you could have sorted the things that 100%of the server need.

I would love to see what other severs do with archers tbh, yes they should be a high single damage attack but 160+ every hit is OP

A wizard with Tbolt and 55 mc hit 35 and FD hits around the same, so an archer was 5 times more powerfull, that's wrong.

A wizard is not a single target damage class, comparing the damage from there low power single target skills vs archer is comparing apples to oranges. What about TU? that skill can do more damage per hit then any archer ever will.

By using the A2O logic a Wizards t-storm skill can hit upto 24 mobs( with 100-150 damage per hit each. Say 15 mobs for sake of argument, 15*125 = 1875 damage. An archer with same kit quality attacks with static shot, they hit 5 mobs for 50 damage each, 250 damage total. So Wizards are over 7.5 times more powerfull, that's wrong.

Note comparing the 2 class's this way is both wrong and counter-productive as it doesn't address any of the issues for either class.



Back on topic.

Archer single target damage is lower then sin and warrior, about same as tao (with pets/poisons), but its higher then a wizard. Mid ranked class at this.

Archers AOE damage are lower then warrior or wizard and are higher then sins or taos (they have no AOE). Mid ranked class at this because 2 of the class's have no AOE.

Archers have no hide/shield/dash so getting through packed mob sections is hard unless you can stay alive long enough to get your decoy to work. Low ranked class at this.

Against boss's, if you can trap the boss, or keep the archer out of harms way with a wall then it's very powerfull. If its a normal tank and spank boss then archer does less damage then sin/warrior but more then wizard. Mid ranked class at this, but high ranked on a select few boss's.

In group hunts as an archer I usally play a support role. I use startic shot or ice shot to help with crowd control as the warriors/sins/wizards kill the mobs. My group hunting usefulness is limited with both my damage and my support role as it does neither very good. Archers aren't usually desired in group situations unless its a hunt for a few specific boss's if other class's are avalable.

In solo hunts I find my lack of dps for both aoe and single target frustrating and slow. With the current exp it would take me over 1 month of 5+ hours a day to get from 44 to 45. This is on par with a tao's solo leveling speed. The top list show this as there are far less archers/taos hitting 45 compared to wiz/war/sin.

AB needs to be reset to previous levels with some small tweaks to stop 1 hitting or totally remove the skill and reworked it into something usefull. In its current form it does less damage then spirt/fire shot so will never be used.

I would like to have a rational discussion about archers, but every post on this forum about them has people giving negative feedback to suggestions and everyone has there own spin trying to either make archers weaker or stronger, never trying to balance them,

I wouldn't complain if I'd be able and solo OK to improve my kit, but since we are useless atm we can't improve our kit...maybe sounds complicated to you, but it isn't ;)

lol funny funny bunny, i put the time and effort in to be able to solo it so maybe you should do the same? and if u cant then take a few ppl ? not hard figured out is it ? i started killing omaking when i was around lvl 35 with enzure and CNknightt , since then ive killed hundreds of OK and had drops to date , bda(F) boundlessring and a hero neck , so yeh the boss isnt worth killing in my eyes. i just do it for something to pass time.

Your added stats mean **** to me lol you really need to sort your internet ego out, like i said i have more DC than you so therefore i should be doing more damage.

Your problem is you have luck 7 and you think that the server should be in the palm of ur hand when infact its not.

if i didnt use luck 7 id surpass ur dc .... maybe you cant understand that?

and my added stats may mean nothnig to u but my power rings are 50% better dps than urs , same with braces, neck , and my blades > ur 40 wep.
i had royal blades but they didnt nearly match up to luck 7 so i sold .

just be glad i dont play an archer imo cus my dc would be atleast 20 more than ur's .

as for ego, was u brought it into the convo , now ive pointed out u dont even nearly match up ive got ego issue's........mmmmmmmmmmkay.
