New path to hell skills

SF and SS seem to be top end bosses only, I know my guild will look after me but as i'm not a boss hunter all day every day there are people that do contribute more on guild hunts and naturally fall in line before me. I would like the opportunity to gain these spells myself.

Most spells can drop from normal monsters (I did all that months ago)
Maybe toxics are killed more due to where they are and there exp/ they are part of a leveling cave

As said I do plan to look over them again and see what the issue might be, it may just be as simple as kill count, ie more toxics are killed and this is the reason more PCs drop

There is also a couple of caves that need to be "adjusted" in order to improve the kill count of some monsters

I agree with "rare or top spell should be rare"!

I am worried that the server is developing so fast that nearly reaching the end. I am sorry for such negative comments.
But it is a nice server and I would like to enjoy here for a bit longer time.

It is nowhere near the end and we are no talking about items here
There is alot of new stuff in the pipeline (Monk included) we have already had a thread about this
We have 200+ new monsters in the files but getting them in game bug free, balanced and right takes time

Yes I agree with this.
Having things like FlameField dropping from FireMinos when MinoTemple is a Wizards primary hunting ground is a great example of allowing people to hunt for their spells even if they are not in a large guild.
If SS is currently in the drop file for Orc Spearmen then that is the complete opposite of the above.

I'm glad your always looking at it BH and I know its no overnight job and needs to balance correctly as not to flood those skills in.

and yeah Pie, I don't have any intentions of quitting and never have, I have had "mir diets" in the past but that's just for a healthy RL.
I don't think id quit even without SS but i cant preempt how i'm going to feel after achieving my next goal so just thinking aloud in regards to possibly getting bored etc etc, wont know until I get there =)

One of the only benefits of being a "casual" player is usually that your never caught up in the hunt for the rarest of items because by the time you get there, they are more readily available.I guess this does end at some point as progression only goes so far within content but I would like to see these spells fall in price =)

It very well could be, alot of them do get killed but it could still be in the drops.
If that was the case it would need to be at a much much higher rate than PT to even out the probability, especially because its only accessible twice a day whereas PT is open all day every day.

Thanks for the responses BH, I do think spells are one of the funnest parts of mir and bring the most change to game dynamics. Would you be able to share the new skills that ARE in game and also those that are really close to being in?

Orcs needs looking at, EXP needs upping to make it worth hunting, the mobs are hard to kill and the exp doesn't reflect that

It is also not a cave designed for leveling in, if anything it is to easy as you can run through it to the bosses.

Not everything is about exp gain, less exp chance of better items, more exp less chance of items

Most of the skills that have been posted about are either in game or close to being in game.

We only post about stuff when it is ready

I think extra exp bonus has been put in the pipeline work but with lower priority compare to monk class or events.
There is no point to push the team, so be patient.
Do you have any plans to add an xp bonus that would apply when in a larger group? Say 5 people +?

It's more fun to hunt in groups but not efficient exp wise. This needs to change imo.

It would need to be "group members in range" otherwise user count will raise to 1000 and every player will have 10 noobs logged in just to group.
Also the benefit shouldn't be large because a small group on here physically cant dedicate unbroken time to grouping. If groups were benefiting over the solo(not by choice) people it wouldn't be fair.

Stupid comment. Mir is a mmorpg and ur responsible for ur account and how well it does. Grafters deserve to have better stuff than lazy people. I bet you vote labour irl. I'm conservative all the way.

Lol you realise with skill crafting you have to "graft" to obtain the materials required to craft the skill. So it's not giving lazy people an easy ride. Also alot of people have jobs and commitments outside of Mir so cannot sit around all day everyday "grafting".....
