Serious suggestion about forum mods

Most can't understand banter from just pure abuse, because for some reason they were born lacking respect and courtesy (No doubt this'll be linked saying well if it's not given why should we give it back etc. I really don't care, that's a whole topic of debate for another time). but overall this thread just screams of people being unable to concept why they've been infracted or why their threads been locked, yet with tai's posts I haven't yet seen any out of control posts, i've seen the odd image post that's made me think "oh tai" but that's just tai. He does it now and again, other than that he does his job and a lot of background stuff people don't see aswell.

For some perhaps it's you're right, and its a genuine lock, but the majority of the time it's getting a last word in, I can picture the little giggle to themselves as they do it. Just lock a thread if its off topic or out of control.

I can imagine most of your abuse is from the people that our guild troll, after all, you don't see us getting worked up on here? It's a Mir community brother, the attitude of the player has remained the same for over 10 years. Look at tai, he uses the same mentality when arguing with forsaken members. It's a Mir forum for private servers, if I wanted to have proper discussions I would make a phone call rather than posting on a 15 year old game forum. Call it childish if you will, I'll not lose any sleep over it.

Don't take it so seriously, you've got 20 moderators to police ONE active section of a small forum. Infractions don't effect anyone, not sure why they would get "butt hurt"

In your last paragraph you've summed it up well, and as you say "that's just tai" ... Well I'm just "ilovepie:D"

Anyway enough of your Dad post, don't take it seriously, I'm sure none of us do... Well in team anyway. Not quite sure about winters and hocus...

Please list the 20 moderators lol. The only moderators of this forum are me and Koriban. There are a few global mods active who dip in when required, and the same for the admins. But the general moderation of the forums comes down to me, Koriban and Babyhack.

As for the 'I want no banter' style comments. I'm fine with banter - flat out abuse, trolling, flaming and baiting isn't banter. Its like running into a shop with a gun, getting arrested, then trying to say to the cops 'it was only a laugh'.

Also, the nice 'its not Team' comments. You may not be the direct instigators of the blame, but the way you bait and troll makes you just as guilty as the rest. There are people form all guilds who are as bad as each other - and if I had my way you would all be in a specific forum group that I could just 'mute' for 12 hours with a click of a button.

Last night was a prime example of this.

I recommend to read your own posts be4 sending them, maybe you ll find out yourself. It's obvious that you can't beat Team in game so you abuse your admin power to pay them back on forum.

There's no need for other forum mods to dip in to "help" it's not exactly a fast moving forum, or maybe it's just so tai can boost up his stats, that he was showing off earlier, got to stay number 1 or forum activity ;)

Define banter.

And comparing a forum thread to armed arrest, lmao.

Above is exactly why this section of the forums died a long time ago.

Friendly and playful are both relative, how do you decide what is ok and whats not?
I could be deeply hurt by being called "boring" from Tai's post saying that im now zzzz, i could be more hurt than someone else being told that their mother slept with goats for free or some other bleating reason.
Its all relative.
Thankfully i dont care much for others opinions, its fairly impossible to offend me, especially on a gaming forum.

The mods need to moderate posts, remove curse words and keep their beaks out of game rivalries.

Many people asked me why "razarus" stopped posting, its simple really, there is no audience to post to anymore the mods killed people off by silencing everyone.

Dont get drawn in to kissing ass or backing factions, moderate as Phawk or post as Candid.
You are better thsn Tai, dont lose yourself.

Worthing is depressing.
As much as i would love to jump on the wagon and slagg off some of the mods and outrageous comments. I cant see many closed threads without a valid reason. There has been posts where koriban & phawk may have got abit out of hand and punishment should be dealt if they tinker on the line and then moderate the post. This i hope Tai does monitor and ensure they are not baiting for infractions.

i do feel that some of the replies after from the staff were uncalled for. Closed threads should apply to moderators and admins included unless unwriting another lower level mods warning for future threads, and the joking thread after was a joke on them & thier maturity, which could be the reflection onto the chronicles forum situation

Chronicles section is out of hands with the guild rivalry and needs to be adressed. I don't bother reading anything here now on my lunch break as its always Team rule forsaken druel' or 'cheats' 'haha ty for sword bitches'. What started off as a new spurt of life to this forum has become a poison.

p.s return my reputation powers which were stolen without just warning.. -.-
