At the start of Ace is had the last chat command used saved, so when you typed a message again it would send the message in the last chat you used, it was so much better tbh but people moaned about it and it got changed.
We did have this functionality at the start of the am2 project... I removed it however, mainly due to complaints and I myself couldn't get on with it... 14 years of typing !~ felt natural to me lol.

I don't want it "remembering" where I was last speaking, I would much prefer buttons to keep me on certain modes lol.
I thought there was buttons to the left of the chat window that did this?

I'm with Razarus.
Better to type it out
Apparently KylerStern speaks on behalf of the majority
Im not saying its a good or bad idea, just an idea thats not worth the time investment.i got use to it on AceM2 was a great feature. dont see why people cant get use to it again.

Considering the game has been open for 11months and not a single person has mentioned it until now i can safely say that my presumption is a calculated one.
You have offered your opinion, now move on bud.

Instead of 149 people getting used to something new and unnecessary cant 1person (you) get used to something old and perfectly functional?
I don't think Razarus actually understands how it works but i think if it was added back the argument against it could be fixed, if i remember people was getting annoyed by typing the chat command in game when they where already in that chat so the command would be in the message they typed.
This should be a simple fix right? If saved in guild chat and if the guild chat command was to be used, accept it?
As for coding time, they already have the code, all they need to do is make a slight adjustment.
