To give you an idea of how wide the map is, I have not yet finished the cave but this is just the top...
This small segment of the map is probably two of BichonProvince side by side. It's probably 5 BichonProvince stacked together in total.

The Team expect us to find the boss in this map for the rubbish it gave. Don't get me wrong, the boss is easy and it doesn't deserve a good drop for the effort required to kill it but it needs making stronger and the drops need making better, all of the end game players are getting bored. Why would I spend an hour or more searching for the turtle boss when I can go search MirKing in 10minutes or go to FrozenKr in 20mins.

A response from a member of the team stating whether the cave will be changed and why not if they refuse to edit it's strength, exp and drops.

I don't understand. This one picture once completed will be easier to show the location of a TurtleBoss without having to explain the location / co-ordinates. You could just draw on the map and uploaded it to teamspeak.

Exp is likely to be raised slightly... But as a whole it will mostly stay the same.

The map is 1/3 bigger than Bichon.

Only a maximum like 3/4 would have died at this point and you are moaning about drops lol.

This cave wasn't designed for the "end game players"... This was the first of three caves (40-45, 45-50, 50+) that has been introduced.

40-45? at 47 even with amc kit 4 AncientTurtles para alot and almost kill me if i dont use sun pots

Yes I take that on board, the cave has been in less than 24 hours and we are complaining about the drops but the boss is likely to be a 3 - 4 man boss, for 3 - 4 people to find the boss on that map is going to take forever unless you get lucky. You will need a group of 10 people to make it effective and for the group a drop of 2 benes and an AMCStone(XL) nobody is going to be motivated to find it.

I think you should put the boss to random spawn on 1 of the small outer islands each time so that you still have to search but it is set to be in one of those locations so not impossible to find.

I was thinking it would be cool to have 1 mob spawned on each of those islands and they must be killed within 60 seconds of each other to teleport you to a new cave or to spawn the boss. Would encourage tactical team play, also would encourage greater pvp - people splitting up, guilds targeting one group on one island etc.

Also how do we find out the respawn timer on a boss like this - maybe a map shout to say something like 'The Giant Turtle has awakened'? :P

So let me get this right, nobody has killed it or atleast you havent? Your speculating the drop and the difficulty of killing the mob, yet your still suggesting that its not good enough?

Can i ask, what evidence are you basing all this bolloks that is spewing out of your mouth?

So whens these 45-50 and 50+ caves coming?

Been the hell update (I noticed the main boss only had a drop file added in the last couple days, lol) and now this in TWELVE MONTHS of server being live. Which is the slowest progression of any server i think iv ever known.

Forsaken will like the map because kitkat says they like hunting in huge groups
Like the idea of these small groups having a hard time in at least one map. They have the rest of mir to two man.

I think you miss understood somehow O.o? not really sure how as he stated the drop... lol. we killed it first. Dropped really pooh. But that is not the point that was being made. OFC we did not expect it to drop on the first kill.

I think the point being made is that it requires a big group to find it, and for how easy It is, makes it a boss that may be left alone, which seems a shame. Who knows im not criticising yet, as it may be a really fun boss with lots more to come from it yet.

There is one aspect that could be fun. PK. If the boss does turn out to drop well, and all the big guilds are running up there pking in a massive open map, it could be exciting, knowing that if you die, you are going to have to run a million miles!

Is this supposed to be a leveling cave? If so I'd suggest it needs at least 2x exp increase to be on par with numa, either that or lower hp/more spawns.

It's currently the worst of all the levelling caves atm (numa, bp, hell, even vipers!)

Fair point, but then lets look at it another way.

How long does it take to get to: OWL/EM/GateKeeper

Maybe these don't take long to kill, but deffinatly give you a challenge in some way. This was just a tank and spank with out using suns. And I would imagine if you took the same numbers as you would to these bosses and split up to find it, you would find it quicker than you would get to the Kr for these. So its similar.

Also with the drops. The bosses mentioned above all give their own benefit. So killing a GK always drops a Gem (which on its own is an incentive to hunt) EM drops like 20 benes. And OWL often drops more than 1 item. These bosses have good reasons to take the time to get to. My worry is that this boss may no? Not at any point did I say I was not going to kill it a few times before making assumptions I was just giving my opinion looking at the first drop. It did not drop an item which suggests to me it is not on the 1 drop system.

I quite like this turtles map.
I think its going to sit very nicely as an alternative to Numa/PastBichon.

I have always liked a boss that cannot be camped effectively and relies on being at the right place at the right time.

I spent a little while there yesterday, I agree the exp needs a slight boost.
The drops seem old school (i like it) You actually run out of pots and need to re-pot rather than being able to TT with more pots than you started with. this has been missing from possible leveling areas for awhile imo from a melee class point of view.
I have noticed a lot of books dropping, Heavenly Swords to Static Shocks and Blade Avalanches I would not be at all surprised if each of the turtles has a VERY RARE chance of dropping a nice book, The boss and Sub perhaps a EXTREMELY RARE chance of the newer lower level skills (Archer Trap, HealingField,BackStab) all speculation of course.
Ill be adding turtles into the mix for leveling to keep it feeling fresh, Numa, PB and Turtles on alternating shifts =)
Ill also let everyone know if I do find anything decent.
