dont people dont know how to fight vs archers yet? (luda had 130% magic avoid ) 8 outta 10 hits miss... and archer OP?

Forgive me but no experienced class player will go out of their way to make the class balanced. It doesn't work like that. Every 1 knows they will do what they can to make their own class the best


Samuel ninja edits would of been the best way for you to have implimented this. At least that way you could see how people gauged the changes and reacted to then and actually got a idea if they were truly balanced

I'm a 40 warr and kt bard can 1 hit me with 600 hp... what's 2 ab going to do. Fact is you know how effective archers are

Well ive been waiting for archer buffs for about 8months now, and ill work with the gm to try balance them the best i can.

Your just causing a **** storm for no reason.

even a standard tiger necky works a **** ton... please learn to play before you come on here posting stuff that you have no clue about.

do what ever you like every class does things different but i don't know anyone who doesn't carry a tiger neck in there bag.

We dont make this game, we're just simply telling you how to counter archers.. what you do with this information is up to you but stop being so bitter lol...

I think the argument is that the arrows are imbued by magic power, they do glow afterall.
in truth its probably a design mistake early on that was easier to leave ingame.
I like the fact that agil doesn't dodge arrows though, otherwise sins would never fear archers. as it is Shadow Stepping in can go one of two ways.
Unless you have stacked MR for archers, Agil for wars/sins, poison evade/resist for taos.... ooops we need something to avoid wiz aoe.. but that's another thread =)

Bard/KT can 1 hit an equally lvled warrior, whatever you say that's OP. Yes, MR helps avoid attacks, but that's a hit or miss, not mitigation. So yes, they might step out of SZ and miss 2-3 times, but quite occasionally they are going to step out of sz (or clone in, when outside town) and 1 hit people they shouldn't really be able to.

AB already hits like a truck, Static is already devastating in mass pvp, piercing shot is also a massively effective skill. They don't need damage, they need the spells they are supposed to have.

Get the new skills dropping and then worry about changing stuff.

Also Decoy is used for more than just moving location, I assumed that was the reason it took 2 clicks, people use it as an ACTUAL DECOY believe it or not....you know like the name would imply. All the proposed change does is make them even more effective in town fights and take away a valid PvE skill?

A 46 Warrior can 1 hit a 46 Archer? So could a well kitted 46 Wiz.

Remember KT has very nice kit, as do a few other archers, myself included. If you've gemmed or bought +3/4/5 stat items surely you should be hitting harder?

Decoy would be better this way PvP or PvE in theory, let's see what results testing provides?

This.

Archers cant deal any damage while kiting, if you give them a means to control their target like ice trap, it enables them to unload damage on a target as well as increase their survivalbility

Making changes to a class without adding the new spells and testing them first seems backwards to me, especially with trap being originally intended as a lvl 22 spell (in shops)

Ive never 1hit a warrior with AB with 135dc....

i had some epic hits but never 1 hit a warrior lol.

Not to mention that was end game kit for a level 50- everything +3DC
