Ok so we all know Attack Speed attention is long overdue, after looking thoroughly through the code and testing different scenarios, we have 4 options that i can see:
Option 1: Global speed cap of 6: DoubleSlash the way it is physically cannot hit above speed 6, bringing the cap down to 6 across the board makes an even playing field for everybody, the real loosers of this change will be warriors loosing 1 a.speed (about 15 hits per minute).
Option 2: Keep the cap at 7 (yes the cap is 7 i can officially announce), Change the doubleslash animation speed again so that assassins can hit alot faster and change doubleslash to only 1 flinch (still 2 attacks)
Option 3: Change to official WEMADE speed; WEMADE(euro) changed a.speed to be half as effective with a cap of 12(chron speed 6) and doubled the speed stat on all items such as dsword / gale items. The big changes would be:
Assassin skill Haste which now gives 8 speed would now essentially give 4 speed
Gemmed items would be half as useful (A.speed 2 ring would become an A.Speed 1 ring)
So everyone would immediately loose out; still have the scope to Gem items up to give +12 total aspeed, Assassins would find it easier to get higher speeds due to +4 from Haste, although speed 12 Cap would effectively be Speed 6 cap chron stats
Option 4: Simply leave as is (pretty poor option but ill throw it out there anyway)
This is the only way forward with the never ending debate about attack speed. Thoughts/Feedback, or any other sensible options welcomed
