Remember when QATAR1 got the Super Admin password and spawned a bunch of Dark Devils in BW, the GM were having a pathetic time trying to kill them But I am sure the corruption from the GMs was rife, selling items to players especially the Qatar players who were always decked out in all sorts.

I hated how in the beginning the game was so civilised, queues for bosses etc. The fun started when a lot of us to turn into "bad" players but then we started getting banned alot for "griefing", last time I played euro I got 30 days ban for killing people during the easter event and stealing their eggs, never played official after that as it was my final ban before permanant so it would be no fun anymore.

I remember selling a DC 42 or 43 DSS to MirGold.com (or something like that) for £550. Bought my first laptop with those funds.

I am sure I wasnt alone with parents not paying a monthly subscription to a game, so I used to play the free trial and hunt oma warriors before coming onto the p server scene back on GGMania forums.

Ragezone was a great server so many memories playing on there and made a few pals who i still speak to today would love to see it come back.

lol i didnt realise that was him, that was the 2nd time the sever got done likw that, the first time it was ETS and WTS if i remember rightly, they had to rewind it back

When I had my own offline server I managed to get a great axe 0-40 just refining

So many crazy memories still can't believe I was in on this one. I was one of the first people involved with the bene glitch on Dserver. Vexus i think? He figured out how to force packets via npc scripts. He didn't really have much on euro so the deal was - I split whatever I make off the items we bene'd with him and he gave me the trick.

We blocked off the quest room and went along unnoticed for close to a month. Sold weapons to high rollers for cheap if they kept them tucked away. Luck+6 Jmace, SC20 Luck 6 Sabre, SC24 luck 6 fan and a luck 6 HS to name a few. We nuked the bene market down to about 100k each before anyone really noticed what was happening. By that time I had brought someone else in I trusted and we had farmed tons of accounts and filled them with benes.

Other people caught on and figured it out. I assume Vexus told other people as benes were 45-50k and people were fighting outside the fate quest room just to exploit. GMs stepped in and permanently disabled the quest. People used a similar trick when the 44 arm quest was going to farm dark arms.

Same guy was also responsible for crashing the server via challenge room for months and also abused casino and got it closed. Power leveled in CR and crashed the server regularly. Damn Americans. lol

My first Mir experience was not the best.
I was 15 and my friends dad had died in his chair, they moved his body and we had to clean the flat up.
A password was taped to his PC monitor, and the game was still running on the log in screen so my friend entered the pw as he'd played it previously.
We logged into a character called Trowaa, lvl 23 just past the paid sub.
This was the first time i had online gamed and fell in love with the text box n the fact you could message others for kit/help.
It Took a month or two to pester for dial up then a PC, AOL dial up -
From then I played a sub lvl 20 called Hard2KiII (capital i's as a copied a friend's name Hard2Kill
I met Dion Parry a Welsh guy who gave me access to his 45 wiz (muhatma) and his 43 warrior (chucksnwoku)
He then quit and paid 6 months on splash plastic for me for hunting with him every day

Since then I haven't been able to get clean

A true story that some of you may not know. I do NOT condone of my past actions, i was young and immature.

My two primary characters were DanUK on Dragon and GODapocalyse on Phoenix. Apoc I purchased at level 30 from the dude who left to play other games. I carried that character up until level 40 where I was banned.

There were two apps in existence, one was public and one was private. The public one was mirlander, the Chinese developer and myself had a deal where I would create their website and I would get free licenses. The second was an exploit where DC, MC and SC could be maxed per hit (255). The private one was created by a friend an lomcn member here =).

I created three new characters, zeropain, zeropower and zero something else, all hit level 40 in no time using the bot and exploit. People took notice. My primary character was banned (apoc) as well as the zero characters. This is where the story gets interesting. GN launched a game called Droiyan and me being me found a way to access any account and do as I wish. I in turn negotiated a deal to return my apoc account, boost the levels (from 40 to 44) and also some item and gold perks for disclosing my method for Droiyan.

I was unbanned, returned and continued the game until RZ did its thing.

Hundreds, cannot recall a specific number but it was a lot. Although I rather a dedicated few members than hundreds of random gremlins.

This is pretty ironic for me, I remember you saying this exact line years ago, I actually remember playing on RZ at the time the server was dieing, always remember Lapta with his DGATE, fond memories absolutely loved ragezone. still to this day think it was one of my fav servers.

I remember a port exploit, you could basically dupe items or give them mental stats.
I can't remember it 100%, but you would basically run a server on your local machine, the DBServer (Maybe?) would point to the IP of the live server, create an item using GM Commands - Lets say Wooden Sword dc+255 luck+10
It would then somehow transfer that item over to the live server.

God knows how, but I'm sure I did not makethis up!

This is probably been answered but this was Port 6k, it worked on any files upto 1.9 when things went Ledu, You'd just set up a offline private server under the exact same name the server was using on LOMCN, RNDPro was a fun one because they had a refine system so you could just max ur items and say yeah refined them xD Run it at port 6k offline instead of the normal port youd then @make all your items, spells etc. Log on the real live server and everything would be on your account if you was using all matching details, it was very easy to do loads of people had access to it early 1.4 days.

@MentaL Would love to see any old school Euro screenshots you've got Always give me nostalgia.

As a 12 year Old watching Mir being played by karl on the game network channel, immediately downloading it the next day.



Me logging into my char in ginko village for the very first time seeing such a huge number of people, flaunting their light armours, flexing their newly learnt skills such as fireball and trouble makers killing each other. Was one hell of a sight to me with so much going on , so much to follow and learn and understand. I was hooked.



Making a friend whom helped me make my way to the big city, Bichon Wall.

Memories of that journey feeling like an absolute life time, with heart pounding the entire way, dodging raking cats , scarecrows, Omas and not to forget those darned spitting spiders which had me sweating bricks whenever I came across one.



Finally entering Bichon wall after about 10 attempts of being killed on the way lol…



Felt exactly as shown in the movies when entering such a hustling and bustling city with so much going on, people shouting selling this and that, heavy armours and magic robes and noble looking soul armours, with exceptional looking weapons, (serpent swords and tridents) and dangerous looking spells (lightning bolt lol) Guilds recruiting, bickering and banter throughout the city. I was in awe



Remember levelling my mage up to level 7 and learning my first skill fireball. Wasn’t on purpose but, eventually killed some lower levels by accident and ended up in PK vill with a red coloured name. Seeing (what seemed like at the time) very mean and rough looking apparent high level prisoners just like I had become, made me

Feel somewhat cool but also worrisome at the same time. Pk vill Was full, some standing afk counting down their time, others bantering and some fighting one another.



Asking and finding out that it is the punishment for killing other players and not being able to enter towns as well as npcs not speaking to a pker feeling harshly done by as it wasn’t intentional, feelings of being exiled and isolated. And the punishment being to wait out until my name become yellow again.

Coming across a digital doom member wearing a clear ring with (Sabuk wall) written after his name.

Remember asking what that meant and being told ‘the land your standing on is owned by him, his guild owns this province and castle ‘ I was amazed.

It was here what began my obsession with owning this sabuk wall lol.

Finding out about the rare rings such as pro para teles and wishing I would be able to own one one day, which also never happened hah.



Splash plastic and monthly payments, constant begging of parents to pay the subscriptions.



Exploring different caves and towns and bosses and mobs.



There really never will be anything like it, was absolutely incredible, exploring and levelling up with so many fond memories.



Unfortunately didn’t get to play rage zone as euro Mir eventually came to a close



Though played Mirrevenge for a good while, started the character Flawless as a law abiding warrior but then had a sudden change of heart and wanted to try a different approach.

Created another warrior, Rarebreed and caused all sorts of mischief on there, brother figured out a acpi tweak on the laptop which supposedly not many people were aware of and took out entire guilds of about 15-20 people solo. Accused of being a speed cheater and so on but I suppose held immunity and helped being in one of laptas favoured guilds (axiom knights / IR) so saved me from banning as despite several complaints.



Played apoc a bit after that before it closed and since then just haven’t been able to find the time to find and stick to a decent server.



This game means a lot as it reminds me of the days of growing up with my younger brother and having a close

Kinship, waking up and dashing to our computers to play Mir or hunt bosses and pk, celebrating wins together and taking our losses together. but as with everything in life we grow and we part and we have our differences and we become busy with our own lives.



A big thank you to Mir and you the community and also to LOMCN for keeping this running for me to log on from time to time and read the shenanigans.

I remember in my first week some random kept giving me gold and items to add him on msn messenger. He spent a few days giving me gold every time we spoke, then he started sending me pictures of his creepy ass 50year old face asking some risk questions. And then he said he would buy me a train ticket to Edinburgh and give me 1000 real gold to meet him. I think he wanted to play with my bumhole.
