    In our defense to this (because the above about skills is some what true)... The dev team have a higher focus on "stability" and "longevity" of the server, although there are a bunch of skills already coded into the files, just dumping them into the server would cause another shift in balance...

    I don't think it will make much of a difference for what you want it for :). Be sure to double check the location, just because the company is in a certain country, doesn't mean they won't provision a server else where. Sam

    We use: https://www.digitalocean.com/ For a lot of our needs... They are cheap and the service is fantastic, I am not sure if they have Windows VPS though, we use them mainly for hosting and I am a Linux fan boy, so I just get Linux boxes. Sam

    Mir servers were run on a lot less... Unlimited traffic is good and 100mb line, Sounds perfect... You will probably end up paying slightly more for Windows OS, but will only be 5-10 more. Sam

    DK makes a good point, we had a dedicated server from them which was hosted in London, but be sure to look at the locations available... Any UK is good and France/Germany (anything just across the pond), any further out and your players will end up paying the difference in latency. Sam
