    How is it against the wall of your case? Are you sure it's not catching on something? They shouldn't be noisy. If it's going too fast you should be able to slow it, but if it's up against your case then the fan is probably trying to compensate for the fact it's got no room to breathe.

    You can downgrade from Vista to XP and MS will give you a XP key in place of your Vista one, just got to call them. As for the error, it's linked to the PagedPoolSize registry entry. If you find that entry and change the value to 0 it should fix it.

I don't know where you get your figures from, but HP still capture the mass corporate market, mainly because they provide the cheapest printing solutions...

    HP are one of the most reliable monitor manufactures, we use them commercially and they're normally the main choice for most big businesses. Very reliable, very good quality. The refresh rate etc will obviously vary from model to model, but I don't think you'd have any problems.
