    Right well heres my experience, i tried the whole windows 7 with aero enabled and i seemed to get 45-55 in most towns.. then i formatted put 8.1 on and i get a solid 60 everywhere. Maybe try a diff operating system and see what works for you?

    I played it for about 2 days man and gave up, not being a c*unt but.. it could have been decent, its just missing a lot.. By the time you have played an hour you already know every item you can get by looking at high levels, there is too many levels between kits which makes it extremely boring...

    I would go with the molex to 8 pin as a temp thing, i would say 460w is enough to run the card... maybe look at a little upgrade down the line to give yourself more headroom tho.

    Doesn't really effect anything to be honest, shouldn't put you off buying a new card card that supports 3.0.. the tests have shown little to no difference between 2.0 and 3.0 at full x16 speed.

The normal 270 is around the same as the 7870.. the 270x is a little more expensive and slightly faster than the 7870 but will ultimately run cooler and draw less power.     A GTX 660 is about on par with a 7850 so the 7870 will be faster, What motherboard are you using just now? In all honesty unless you really need the extra power there is no need to go for either of these cards to play those games, then again who knows what the future holds.
