Any modern build pc should be able to run Mir. Even todays mobile phones and a Rasberry Pi can run Mir.
Put it this way if it can run Windows 10 it can pretty much run Mir.
So even if you went for the minimum specs you mentioned you will be able to play it. Hope that helps even though it...
I remember this was the case too. At the time I was helping Night with some of the code and remember sending him the link to Ice's ad for the server. But I also remember Ice did have the domain name bought before announcing the server. It was a bit confusing though.

Maybe you should of called the server something different. People are still going to link this server to IceMan's reputation no matter how many times you say he is not involved.
I doubt it will make much difference to the free section of GitHub. My guess is that they bought it for the companies who pay for the private repositories.
If anything it will get a better support platform and better integration with Visual Studio.
