    We always see to crave that nostalgic feeling. But in reality when it comes to Mir nobody really wants to or has the time to commit to a euro type server. That goes for both players and server creators.

    I'm pretty sure that classes as benefit fraud as he is actually doing freelance work (contract work) whilst claiming benefits (assuming what you said is true.) People should be very careful of what they post on the internet Iv'e known people that have been caught and prosecuted for benefit fraud...

    So really you got lucky with the Qatari player. Otherwise the money per hour isn't that great. Plus you must of had to put all the time in to get your char to a position where you could actually farm the gold and boost players? I hope you told the tax man about that extra 1500£ you got.

    I curious about how much you actually earned per hour doing this. How long would it take you to gain 1mill gold and how much did you sell it for? Surely you could make more per hour by working at McDonalds?

    £15,000 in one month? That would mean 100 players that actually donate would pay an average of £150 each in one month.

    Are you serious? 24/7 support on a private server? Even if the server generated £1000 a month in donations (which would be a lot for a Mir server), that would not cover the cost of 24/7 support.

    Yes I am VERY familiar how the server works with a flat file db and with SQL. I have done all this before about a year ago. Like I said, I am just sharing my knowledge and experience so that it may help others or in this case this server. You don't have to be so defensive and ignorant about it...
