Its a no for me. Nostalgia is an illusion. It will never ever be what it used to be like. I prefer to remember what it used to be like rather than trying to relive/replay it. Plus time is a huge constraint on the games I play today.
But I hope you all have fun playing it. Don't forget ti...
You could do it by adding a new property to the player. Call it disconnectTime or something. Do a time stamp when the player/char disconnects and the compare that time when they log back in.
If disconnectTime < DateTime.Now.Add(-5) then kill pets or tele out of dungeon. (The pseudo code might...
We have a pretty interesting Mir server in the works. Done a complete overhaul of the code which is why its taking some time to do. Currently in the process of creating 100% custom content and working on an integrated website. Also one of our huge targets is making the server have a 99% uptime...

This is why most games these days send you and email with an authentication code if the account logs in with a non-registered IP.
Shouldn't be too difficult to impliment a similar system.
As interesting as this drama is, this is just sad and pathetic. Whatever the truth really is, trust has been broken to an already broken community. The lengths people go to make a quick $$$ are sickening.
Not only have accounts been hacked and items been stolen. But they have been stolen to make...
No, they are not stable. The amount of performance and robustness changes my team have done to our source are unreal. You have to give credit to the developers that are still working on that source though. They have brought it a long way still.
