Perhaps some servers might consider implimenting a harsher PK punishment. Do it by level range, so if you PK someone a lot weaker than you than you then the punishment is more severe.
It gets stupid how much people will pay for ingame items.
There are a few games out there like Eve Online, Second Life and Entropia where people have paid hundred of thousands and even millions for ingame assets.
I have been thinking this for a while. There is far too much mystery still around the Night King. No doubt one of the spin offs will be based around the history of the Night King.
EDIT: Funny enough, this report just came out: https://www.bbc.com/news/newsbeat-48280752
Oh definetly, you shouldn't never claim that. You just set yourself up to fall. Where I work we use the term "98% up time" as you want to show people that you have a stable system, but at the same time allow a 2% chance that for whatever reason there may be a mishap.
But what I was meaning to...
It is very doable to make the server crash free as most of the crashes are NULL exceptions. The issue is that there are a lot of unhandled code in the Crystal Source. My team just did phase one internal testing and couldn't get the server to crash at all. We tried as much as we could to crash...
I think you missed the point. The post was suppost to be ironic. I was demonstrating the manipulation of statistics to turn the opinion. Even though you just tried to slam me down, im actually quite imptressed that you spotted it.
The fact that people are petitioning for this is just showing the sheep mentality of people today. The way the media portrays statistics to manipulate the way people think is crazy. According to a few sources 12.5million people watched S08 E05. (Source). That means that only 4% of the people who...
Sorry to disappoint you but a fair few of us are programmers. I for one have it in my job title. And others who "edit code" on here are more than worthy to be classed as programmers, even if they don't do it as a profession.
I started using ASP.NET Core 2.0 recently with MVC model and I have to think to myself why I had not learned about it sooner. I think I will try to stay on top of the .Net technologies, I could have saved myself loads of time and effort.
Nobody is getting upset as such. Just think that botting the UC publicly like that will have a negative inpact on peoples views of your server. Even my initial thought when seeing that UC out of context was "WTF, thats clearly a fake UC". Even if it is a dev server.
Erm...using AI as users is falsifying user count. Whats stopping you from using the same process when it goes live to boost your UC? You are risking people not trusting your UC when you go live. I would be very careful what abilities you show while you are testing.
Why is it on the server list...
