I gotta say, I never expected the files to be compared to Cow Pussy. Thanks for the compliment.. I guess? lol Sprite your English is pretty good, are you self taught or?

    AceM2 - Official Test Server

Yeah there is a few. Nothing game breaking we hope -Interface isn't complete so some windows will still have some Chinese images and be the old style. We'll be patching in new windows pretty frequently. -Our SQL DBsrv is untested with more than 5 or 6 players and hasn't really been optimised...

    AceM2 - Official Test Server

Yup, but also a chance for people to see the files before we release. They have so many little things that we can't really show in Screenshots but make it difficult to go back and play other versions of Mir. People will understand once they play the Test Server

    AceM2 - Official Test Server

Server won't be live till 27th, the rest of the necessary files (A small download) will be made available on the AutoPatcher then.

    AceM2 - Official Test Server

Blame Shanda. Use your Photoshop magic and fix it for us!

    Windows surface rt

Surface RT runs on an ARM based processor so standard Mir versions wouldn't work. Delphi doesn't currently run on ARM. Jamie might be able to compile his C# version for ARM but I've no idea about the processes involved.

AceM2 - The next generation of Mir

Bottomboard interface is straight from Shanda (Wet and all). It's actually now my favourite interface it just looks great ingame, it's also designed to be familiar. For those that want something different they can use the smaller Interface. We may make minor tweaks but the interfaces are locked...

    Browser WoOOL

I think the issue with Woool and I guess with the browser versions is that people come to LOMCN for Mir and Mir alone. Until Shanda or some other company launch proper English Versions of Woool you're not going to see much interest among European Players. I've played a few, they're aimed at how...

AceM2 - The next generation of Mir

Client download for the Test Server can be found in the new thread in Upcoming Servers. Test Server is still going live next Saturday, we'll lock down a time sooner to the date. Regarding performance discussion etc the files are vsync'd so will be capped at the maximum Frame Rate that your...

    AceM2 - Official Test Server

Server is now online. Run Patcher to play Server Details Server goes live next Saturday the 27th of April. It'll run for as long as needed and is designed to test the stability of the new AceM2 files and also give people a preview of what can be done when the files are released. Experience...

AceM2 - The next generation of Mir

Thanks for the offer, test server will be up in just over a week now if you could test then that'd be great. Older clients (Including Ruby) all used DelphiX which is DirectX7 based code I believe. Either way it's old outdated and too slow. These files use a modified version of HGE for Delphi...

AceM2 - The next generation of Mir

Test Server on 27th April, Public File release 2 weeks later. Sijo is launching beforehand since they've had early access to the files in return for things like Dedi Servers and Interface Work. Test Server is vital for the files, we need to confirm they are in fact stable. We're expecting...

AceM2 - The next generation of Mir

We tried that experiment with Heroes (public source). It does not work, we won't be doing the same with these files. Light Stuff is Sam's baby, he worked tirelessly to get it in. It's not perfect or complete (Still need to assign light to some New Map Light sources) but it looks amazing ingame...

AceM2 - The next generation of Mir

I only have a short video of Animations on the new Maps. The others may have more but they're likely all Work In Progress videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIAcOIROVFs Regarding Dungeons currently Shanda haven't updated the Dungeons to the new Style but the files have new Maps and...

AceM2 - The next generation of Mir

I don't think any of the team have a Windows 8 device but the Client is using an updated DirectX Engine so I expect it'll work fine. If not I'm sure we'll make the effort to fix it.

AceM2 - The next generation of Mir

No Korean Interface, only the interfaces on the first page. Play Ruby servers if you want Wemade interface. There is a Name View option if I remember right, can't remember off the top of my head. These are public Server Files, we don't manage servers and we certainly don't GM them (Unless we run...

AceM2 - The next generation of Mir

Just to expand on what Sam said, Client will be available to download at least a week before Test Server launch so people will have plenty of time to get it. And our MapEditor does support creating maps using both the New Objects and Mir 3 Objects. I believe it's actually possible to create...

AceM2 - The next generation of Mir

We're using SQL on M2Server for those DB's because DBCommander is old outdated tech that is awkward to install on x64 machines (and for the reason in the next paragraph). DBSrv for Character updating and because it will allow us to create a web based API that securely allows GameGold purchases...

AceM2 - The next generation of Mir

At the moment just Item,Magic,Monsters,Admin from M2Server are in SQL. I'm not a huge fan of storing other data in SQL as it makes it more difficult to add content. I just personally don't see the benefit in storing things like NPC, Merchant etc in SQL. Also both Accounts from LoginSrv and...

AceM2 - The next generation of Mir

Same deal that we had with Heroes, exe releases until we're done with the Project and no one is actively working on the Code. At that point myself or another team member will release the code for others to use.
