Use the VAIO you have to download the latest version, then copy the installer from the update directory on C:\update (or similar) to the destination PC.
Clean the update directory first so you know which one it is when you download ;)

If something is being downloaded over and over, there is a problem with the dates in the !plist and the 'modified' dates of the file you are replacing.
In order to always update, the date in the !plist for the file must be 'newer' than that of the file its replacing.
