ps2 help please

Hello my ps2 has a Parental Controll on it, it asks me for a password everytime i put a film in that is 15+, so this means that i could not watch American Pie last night. I have no idea what the password is. Does any 1`s ps2 do this or used to do this? please reply to my post asap. Thx

i hav tried loads of stuff but just cant get to get in it to get the securaty level to 8 (so that i can watch by 15+ films)

you playstation knows your 14 or under and is locking you out.
Its most unfortuante but Sony have some kind of morale fibre and have seemingly implanted it in the PS2
Being under 16 shouldn't you be tanked up on white lightning smoking more ciggarettes than i could afford in a life time and getting females of your age pregnant?

yeah i tried 0000 and so many others, naa they aint set one . been on it since i brought from toys r us. its just that i only found lomcn not long ago.

if it was bought brand new then the password would be 0000 or 1234 but wouldnt be activated (i.e no restrictions) so either you set the restriction yourself or your parents did or someone with access to the ps2

well the first time the password thing comes up it asks you to set a password so it seems like one has already been set, I dont think there is anyway of retrieving your password, basically you wont be able to watch the movie you want to aswell as other movies that require you to change the parent control

When you put a rated DVD in your PS2 for the first time it ask's you to enter a 4 digit password.

It doesnt set its self.

Enter 7444

After that you should be asked for a new password, enter nothing. If your not asked - you'll still be able to watch your movie (agt this point enter the menu and change the parental control settings from there).
