You should have the same chance of seeing more than 3 failures as you do of seeing less than 3 failures....
If it's not averaging out at 3 failures then the 97% is wrong.
The problem is you would have to make thousands to get a decent enough sample size.
It is obvious the war system is balanced to a different economy and people are abusing the mechanic. Adjusments to the cost/requiring an item would be a nice idea.
Also the three posts above highlight why you will always have complaints, they're the most fallacious arguments I've ever seen.
Where's the option for "Significantly lower drops and have zero effect when pked".
That way still protects against random lag outs but gives no protection in pvp.
Where do you get the error, is it during expanding files?
Do you have more than one memory stick? I had to remove 1 to install windows 7 during the beta.
It's a pretty horrible thing to try solve, sometimes just trying over and over can work.
Yeh it's not that the devs are busy with the other hundred things you want fixing but instead it's some sort of tao hate conspiracy. Just because GMs haven't replied doesn't mean they haven't taken note of it.
Re: Is the fps cap needed?
No, your reading it wrong and I've maybe worded it badly.
Under ~20fps your brain notices that its not a continuous animation and the image will appear to jump/flicker. Once your over that it will appear as a smooth animation due to persitance of vision. In a way...
Re: Is the fps cap needed?
FPS shouldn't have an effect on game speed if it is done in the way Jamie mentioned, but I imagine the applem2 code is pretty archaic and doesn't handle it very well.
Also persistance of vision isn't a cap on what fps we can see. It's simply the amount of fps is...
Re: Is the fps cap needed?
Engine? DirectX?
This is pretty standard and is just used to not render things already there, if it is imposing a limit on your fps then it has been done badly....
Re: Is the fps cap needed?
Players don't see code.
Runners don't look at the gun and again there's more than animation.
Nope.
Level playing field, lower resource usage and a host of other problems that everyone having different fps can cause.
Re: Is the fps cap needed?
Just no. Mir isn't just a series of animations...
This doesn't mean I would remove the 60fps limit, the game seems to run quite nicely at the moment.
Re: Is the fps cap needed?
Except that of course that isn't FACT at all.
It is a complete myth that the eye can't handle 30/60/120 fps as it can.
You are dumb stop being dumb.
It's not uncommon for people to format and then not fully update DX, that's why I asked, it's one of the most common causes of this error. Other causes are graphics/sound drivers, viruses and other things that are writing to memory they shouldn't be.
Unless you did a full clone of your HDD...

Welcome to LOMCN.
Edit: But it's their files, their work and they have every right to release whatever, whenever they feel like. Until you code your own files you should probably shut up.
The OP is bad, this thread is bad and most of the replies are bad.
Lets all chill out, relax and remember it's only 1 hour until I can drink beer in the sun.
